I am loving this personally. Great story but also the corruption is really slow burn just like you stated before and honestly, that is something I am loving to the max. Favorite interactions so far have been the doctor or landlord. In my opinion they are nicely done. Cheers and good luck.

nope there shouldn't be game overs. if it's appearing it means there's a bug either mine or the system's (yes rpgmaker can also trigger bugs) can you tell me more about where and when it happens?

one square? like making entrances and exits smaller?
i think he means the area to enter/exit should be just one tile.

Say you have a three tiled entrance, just make the top and bottom tile be like an obstacle, which leaves only the middle tile to have the map change event
