i think he means the area to enter/exit should be just one tile.

Say you have a three tiled entrance, just make the top and bottom tile be like an obstacle, which leaves only the middle tile to have the map change event

I talked to people and then it remained like this

are you playing the pc version? if i remeber correctly you talk with people and then return to nils, i think there was people outside the fortress too, did you speak with all?
