no, AFAIK there's only 2 old guy encounters

there are lots like that, some find the captain as an handsome guy so maybe he could be not in that category

even if that's the case he should tell you to change, try leaving and entering the building

the optional content of the other characters appears as part of secondary objectives, so if you check them, yu won't lost them

I'm on objective 2 of "going back to normal". As soon as I finished class it changed me into the jr guard uniform and then when I talk to dad it says "It's too soon to be in uniform" but I can't access the station changing room or go back home to change. Am I missing something obvious?
If you have this issue try turning walking speed to normal before returning to class

does game stop at quest "first step to be an alpha"? I tried to reset it few times but during this quest when entering the academy and when Rector Renier gives task to Chirs and leaves there is not dialogue continuation, game just stops.

you shuld be able advance after that. it may be a problem with the characters movement, try not to advance quick or skip that part, it may help
