The player says "may be i should talk to the tavern owner or try to text my girlfriend"(not sure how you name her) - after you see that the tavern owner did not provide you with anything to go,you should open the menu find your added friends and text your girlfriend as the player suggest,then the game will continue
Nope but dont worry the male mc turns into a girl you can play as in the vr world

So,you are at the bandit camp quest? I tought you ask how to proceed after that one,but seems there was some misunderstanding. Anyway,once again just click on the "map icon" that just like all other icons are at your right,then you will see "boots icon" at where you can go - click on them and you will appear at the new place then you can proceed and find the bandits and try to deal with them(most likely you need to fight them,at least i didn't was able to do anything else even after trying to talk with them first) - after you deal with the bandits you know already how to proceed - go to the tavern and call your girlfriend.

PS: At the tavern there's also another guy sitting on a table - i don't think he is part of the bandits quest,but you can still talk with him - you can ask him questions about joining the royal guild,what he is doing here and if you can help him but as long as i know he doesn't say anything about the bandits quest,although he is probably connected with the bestie of your girlfriend that happens to work there from time to time and you find the fact that you can work there if you want(probably that guy is one of her clients/visitors)
