I tried some kind of hotfix and it seems to be working. Maybe try it out yourself until some real coder comes up with a proper fix - or the dev himself.

I think at this point you are done with the VR game, and there is no more content until later releases. That is where I am as well.

go to your inventory make the love potion that is listed in recipes ...then talk to the blacksmith again he will drink it
you have to make the potions before it will trigger

list of vr quests in case you haven't triggered them all .........the lumber jacks ...talk to the old man by the well ...before battling the wolf make sure you have done your level up ..lumber jack healing quest .the royal guard quest (i didn't find a gold coin so i dont think you are supposed to ) .. the old windmill quests ....the farm (demon riddles ) the blacksmith potions ...make sure you make the potion before talking to him again or it would advance the lumber jacks give you the cave quest .....
the black rider quest its a long one you need to wait for the rider at the stables 3 nights ....... when all those are done I think its done for now ..........(oh and to advance from day to night use the bed upstairs ) hope this helps

the love potion and the greater love potion are for the black smith ......correct you make the love potion give it to the blacksmith ...hi-jinks ensue ........he gives you the formula for the great love potion you give it to him ...hi jinks ensue and quest over ......
