i dont remember if i had any gameovers in this game, but i 10000000% agree that "game over" shouldnt exist in many games. devs could make it to the point of gameover, but then use something like "press here to try again from point a or here to exit to the main menu".
Renpy games have a generous autosave system. Basically for every choice. If you redownload the game and look at your autosaves, the last 6 choices you made will have autosaves. Give that a try. Go into load and click the A at the bottom left.
That choice was particularly cringy as were a few others ... either the MC's "wife" (in the code) gets +1 corruption or the MC looks incredibly insecure and controlling....
According to their Patreon site, they plan to release a new version of the game on December 25. Personally, I would be VERY surprised if they make that deadline, but let's see. Time will tell. At least they have dropped the unrealistic new update every 3 weeks schedule.
