The latest update shows that the male MC is now pursuing his female boss at work, and the storyline indicates that the female boss is also agreeing to his pursuit. It seems the developers are planning to create a dual storyline.

And where is the problem with that ? There all adult and that's life. Some people are just journey and not destination. That's a good proof that a good guy can finaly have something for him. Even his relationship with Valerie breakup at the end of the game, life goes on. The real loser of the story is Valerie: she has a good boyfriend, caring, working and she throw this for become a whore ? Good for him he find beter, that's all.
It's just a story. And yes life is cruel.
And if you think the mc is a looser it's your decisions in your playthrough

I just started playing and got to the point where the mc and gf meets in the inn's room. I had issues with how much of a whiny insecure little brat the mc is but I stuck around because I enjoyed the vr segment( I think a different dev I actually like helps with that part). From what it sounds like not only does the mc not improve at any point all the side girls I like also realize he's completely useless. And not only that the mc's girlfriend also cheats on him as well?! And the game has no options to prevent any of this bs?

I was going to make a review and talk about my thoughts on this game but it seems like there's absolutely no point in even continuing this game.

God do I hate when devs say "the choice is yours" when they know that's a fucking lie.
