Winlator is a thing that exists and it runs the game fine performance wise.. although.. it butchers the absolute fuck out of the text for whatever reason.
I'm still trying to figure out how the thing works, but people play Fallout and stuff on it, so surely it can run a VN or two.

I've played it before, it's a very fun VN game, highly recommended. The only pity is that there is no voice acting.

If you choose the chubby girl to be your girlfriend it's game over. I restarted twice and avoided any committed relationship and after 17 in-game days I didn't get even the slightest H-scenes, even though I raised the girls affection near max.
You CAN'T save or roll back during mini-games and that's annoying.

Yeah, wouldn't be me... Imagine playing Chain of Memories (GBA version) before the original Kingdom Hearts, or Assassin's Creed whatever-Ezio's-last-entry-was before any of those that came before... That would be crazy... Totally not me...

I fixed a similar error by opening the 0.txt file, searching for the dialogue lines it showed and adding a missing ".
If you Ctr+F those lines you'll probably find a similar syntax error.

I played the Japanese version. This is one of the few JP romantic comedy VNs I've played recently that I actually liked. Good pacing and doesn't lean too heavily on tropes.
