Agree with you that in most of these games the posing/expressions could be better, still some of the newer ones, e.g. Man of Steal, show progress on that front. But it is a fact that a lot of potential of the games gets lost underway due to these things. Ironically, the story branching is among the better ones on F95.
Appreciate the summaries for the games Turret - I'll post those verbatim and credit as such!I mean, I've played MoS and still don't see any improvements...
Sure, they open their mouths a little on some talking scenes... or during sex. But that's about it. The only branching I've noticed is whether or not you're on harem, swinging, sharing, or NTR routes. What am I missing in terms of story branching? The end result is usually the same from what I've seen, just often times with the antagonist in place of the MC.
On the game's mechanical flow, I think you're both right - but talking about different things.
The mizytl games consistently have muliple paths, usually in the forum of "harem"/"sharing"/"ntr". Each game has a variety of input decisions to get on, or change between paths. These are numerous, so much so that many of his games require a walkthrough. However, the total variety of ending paths is fairly limited - the "outputs" as it were.
Just depends if you define branching in the right-hand or left hand direction, or in math terms, mechanically his games are surjective but not injective.
I agree with GOOML the art is a consistent low point - it's not so much the technical side of lighting and scene setup (those arent great either); it's the creativity, the artistic direction. Emotionless characters, brittle poses, uninspired camerawork.
Nevertheless they belong on this list, and some may enjoy.
