Honestly I wouldn't share either if it was up to me but then id feel like id be missing out on to much so I just share both. Not really a sharing game I like to share , even if the scenes are good. Hell I don't even like the whole Freya and Evelyn romance starts. Feels like im a cheating on one of them.

There are a handful of female characters I'm very possessive about in these VNs, and ain't no way I'm sharing them with another dude. Thankfully some of them aren't in "sharing" or similar type VNs, like Allie in Race of Life, so no worries with those...

Freya is definitely one I don't want to share... I'm good if she and Evelyn want to fool around, but ain't no other dude gonna lay a finger on Freya, unless they want to lose an arm...or both eyes if their gaze lingers too long...

I can understand where you're coming from. Not everything is for everyone. I don't personally believe that kissing and love have to be connected. They can just be part of the erotic heat of the situation to get both parties going, especially to get the woman wet and ready for more.

I love watching it regardless as long as it falls within the type of content I enjoy. Though I was mainly talking about the MC with women more than others, it can still be hot either way. In a sharing situation, scenes where the MC and his wife/gf/date for the moment are on the couch making out, getting hot, while another couple is next to them or across the room, and then the girls get up and swap places, especially with knowing eye contact all around? That's top shelf stuff for me.

I would highly recommend separating your 2d and 3d recommendations. The vast majority of 3d games, not even considering if they have sharing or not, on f95zone are 95% trash.

Great game. That along with the prequel NSFW: Natural Selection Female Wrestling and it's...middle..quel? Masters of the Ring . Are some of the best sharing games out there.

Fantastic fam sharing and a perfect examples of "casual" sharing. Everything feels chill throughout. Nothing feels competitive (well..besides the wrestling part) and everyone trusts each other. Pretty funny at times as well.

100% - I'd appreciate people first asking themselves "Does the game I'm about to recommend or discuss look or feel very anime-ish?" If so, no problem, but there are other places to better discuss it - namely zeputsu's thread or hentai kishi's thread.

I would highly recommend separating your 2d and 3d recommendations. The vast majority of 3d games, not even considering if they have sharing or not, on f95zone are 95% trash.

Unfortunately in the 2d flavor there are very few games I'd consider both having sharing content and being in a western style. I do enjoy these when I see them, there's just not enough of them to warrant demarcation right now.

I have Our Red String on the list, I wish the "Blurred Lines" guy hadn't given up, that was looking to be a spicy 2d swinging/sharing game. If you have other suggestions of western-flavored 2d games, I'm all ears, but AFAIAK that subset is pretty small.

Confessions in The Dark certainly has a bit of an anime vibe, but, as you say, so do many/most of the 2d games, including those in the AI slopyard... It's hard to place a precise boundary on the art style as the models devs use often have a strong bias. Where the western "tag" resonates the most with me is in how the story is approached and written. Hentai is too often too sado-maso for my liking. But even there, someone said hentai tends to adhere to strict commercial guidelines and that gives western authors an edge in the creative writing side of things - funny how that seems to be opposed by intense pressure from western backer crowds to influence creators.

Anyway not my original intention but since I mentioned Confessions, other than the cucky feel of the last update that was pointed out earlier, does this line in the changelog "Continues the story, with the MC and with her new lover Ben. MC gets to watch in person" imply that the wife will be in a romantic relationship with that bloke, or will they just be having sex for her husband's benefit?

That's exactly it, different tastes. I'm not so sure about the "east/west divide" because I haven't thought about it so much, the most I could say is that I've never played a true hentai that had the exact "flavour" that suits my taste. They usually fall on one of two categories, helpless cuck MC struggling to accept his "fetish" of seeing his LI be taken by other guys, or dominant MC corrupting a reluctant LI into fucking other men. So far, only in "western" games have I found the sharing game played by both partners with equal agency and with no hidden agendas.

So, tastes, yeah. I'll only ever play a subset of the games that are listed here, which are already a subset of all NTS games, but I'm really glad for this list and the fact that people here do spend time spoilering and dissecting ramifications Hate to waste time on a game, only to realise many hours in that it's going in a direction that I don't enjoy. I don't do blind playthroughs and never play for bad ends, that's just not where my tastes lie.

On the topic of pure eroticism, the game that I've found to be the most erotic with foreplay and just really steamy situations in general is Between Worlds. Exceptionally highly recommended and it has sharing!

Yes, it could be one, or the other, or both...

"Lover" is a loaded word...
It's intentionally vague, ambiguous, and can only be defined given actual context.
Even then, it could be subject to interpretation by the reader, though the term does lean toward the romantic side...

Describing Ben as a lover is very appropriate in that VN.
It builds, tension...

Yeah, the loser husband genre is really common, but something I have zero interest in either. If its one available path in a game, then cool, its there for those who want it. But I always want the dude to be getting his share of the action, whether that's swinging together or doing something with other women while his wife or gf is getting it on with other guys.

yeah while I don't like to partake in the action in a sharing game unless it's with the wife ( I don't see it as cuck either unless certain things happen). I just like the option to not partake like instead of swinging just watch for example. But this is all on my main save on the others I like to have fun.

With all that being said I do dislike it when in these games they make the guy a loser and a pushover just cause he is into certain things. I also dislike it equally when the sharing options / guys suck and the MC just lets things happen cause he is made to be a loser. I like some balance maybe not someone that is a total Alpha but just not a loser. The MC from A life worth living comes to mind unless you play the cheating path.

This is exactly what keeps me from trying some games that offer both NTR and a sharing/swinging path. Often, the husbands in these games are quite pathetic. For me are Exciting Games,The Three Panels , and Holiday for Four good examples where the married couple truly act as one and not just like roommates. That alone makes the story much more interesting to me.

This 100%, and a big part of why I have my preferences this way in addition to the art. I feel like "eastern" games are much less comfortable with ambiguity of status or magnaminous power dynamics. The idea of "there must be a higher and a lower, a winner and a loser" feels deeply culturally entrenched.
