SinisterPortal I'd make a suggestion to the dev that the wife could praise her husband in her denials (if she doesn't already). Even if the boss keeps his smirk, should be more of a forced smirk. Hope she can also talk about it with her husband and they end up unbothered, laughing it off or finding a way to use him.
Been trying to connect the dots, so it seems like, up to this moment, if you share your "princess" with Neil, it's all to his advantage and you get no satisfaction out of it? I sure hope this changes, cause if this is the case, I'm with you, can't share her with a guy who would flaunt it as his conquest any more than I would share Claire with the neighbour in BILH after watching the one scene. So, I guess, it's less "steamy" scenes for me, until the dev makes it more palatable. Honestly, it wouldn't be enough that that the ending were fully satisfying from a "sticking it up to Neil" POV, I couldn't stomach it if there were any humiliation implied (either by dialogue or simply by the situation making the MC look weak).There's a lot of comments in WoD, from me and others, about the couple using that plot to "use" Neil for their game, before "sticking it" to him... But again, personally, I ain't sharing her with Neil, at all, never, nope, not gonna happen... Sleaze bags and hobos ain't getting near my princess...
That's good to know, I played that when it launched and wasn't sure which way it was going to go. It sure was a slow burn, but the cheating opportunities started coming before any sharing. Or maybe I'm mistaking it for Heated Hashtag? Damned HH games, always mixing them up. I think it was Hashtag that you weren't even in a relationship with the main LI to begin with, and the game never gave you an opportunity to make a move for the first 3 or 4 episodes, made me think some other guy was going to get her first.
As much as I hate Neil, I enjoy this game on the sharing/swinging path so far. You can totally deny Neil, which is what I am doing. For me, he's handling it way better than the majority of similiar type games out right now.

Did Fable respond to comments about them not talking about everything? I mean, except for scenes where they both are present, I don't even count as sharing any scenes with other people that they don't either witness, participate or talk about. That's free pass (at best) and boooooring af
Fable may have, but I'm not watching that closely.
When I was last on discord with Fable, there were several people asking about "the discussion".
To me it's not that they can't have a "phase", but to make it the entire game or even a major part of it swings too much towards the cheating side, shows both as weak-willed/hesitant/indecisive and, mostly, just makes for a ton of missed opportunities where a lot of teasing could have taken place. If "sharing" isn't shared, what's the difference between that, and a game where multiple (unrelated) protagonists have sex with multiple others?
That's already less that optimal. Means they WERE hesitant about it (despite having agreed to share, I presume)? I'll grant it, characters don't have to be always perfect, but it's hugely frustrating when an obvious and simple matter as being honest and forward with your partner isn't an option. They may behave like they're dominant with everyone else, but that will still make me feel like I'm railroaded along the story. At that point, I'd prefer it to be purely kinetic, and that my choices were reduced to "do I want to follow this story, or not".

For mine, it just shows a dev with zero understanding of the lifestyle they are attempting to write into their narrative.
Hope the dev's getting more feedback like this. I think it's fair to give the benefit of doubt at the same time as one points out the obvious flaws where sharing is concerned. Here, I'm used to seeing balanced criticism, but on most threads, you see mostly whining and bitching. And sometimes it's not even that, but seems so when we start supporting each other's criticism like a snowball effect
Even when I agree with the critics, it's hard for me not to imagine even stout creators being disheartened by mostly negative feedback, especially when they realise they may have had a poor idea (or simply a different idea) of what people seek in a sharing path without cheating, or cucking. Some might lose interest in a path they're not comfortable with, some might double down, maybe only a few would try to understand where the numerous critics come from. So, kudos for supportive feedback.
Heya, for myself, yes, it does. I have tried purely kinetic novels but, to be fair, I haven't really stuck with any except for Cozy Cafe. For my part, I understand that doing a super complicated branching AVN is really hard, so I am ok with the story being mostly kinetic if I get at least variations on scenes, so the story beats may be exactly the same, but a dialogue here or there changes based on choices, or a sex scene has 2-3 variations based on what I chose to do on it.
Crazy as it might seem, I have kept the save folder for every version of every game (avn) I have played.Just finished and removed Midlife Crisis to free up space, but kept the savegames... Just in case
I do the same, haven't done it always but lately even for games that are marked as completed. You never know!
Have you played chapter 3? Does it continue the same lines and quality as far as you know?
