Hey, y’all!

I said I wasn’t gonna do a dev update this week, but I got bored and wrote one anyway (Bum dev’s redemption arc incoming!)
I mentioned it last week, but I’m away from my setup atm due to the holidays and visiting my family, but I made sure to pose a fuck ton of animations so I at least have something for the PC to render while I’m gone.
I’m gonna try to get some writing done on this little mini vacation, but I’m mostly gonna take it easy (nevermind, bum dev allegations are stronger than ever now).
As for the numbers, we are now sitting at 110 images and 10 animations, with some more in the queue waiting to be rendered.
I’ve also attached a “preview” to a possible future project of mine once Westview is wrapped up. I’ve had her sitting in my files for a while now, and I can’t wait to get to use her
That’s about it for this week, hope you all have a lovely week, and I’ll update you beautiful people next week when we’re back to our regular schedule

Just from this preview, I can already tell that the LIs in the next project will be much better.

Imo this avn got better and better with every update, great LI's and quality, its just a mainstory which is kinda somewhat missing

Not sure if it is a bug, but on June's path, if I have kissed Athena, MC has a choice to end Athena's path and even though that choice is clicked, it still proceeds to the content as if you were on Athena's path.

Some can be dates or just social events with a friend. Alyssa, for example, invites you to airsoft. You can go and hang out with her, and either way it's just hanging out. If at the end, you kiss her, then it becomes romantic and if you do not you are friends. I guess, yes, you are forced to hang out with people but I enjoyed the events. Otherwise you'd miss out on a lot of content with your friends in the game.

Are you wanting to completely avoid a person if you say no to lewd content with them? Do that enough times and you'd have a five minute story since 99% of this is his interactions with his friends, LI or not.

I do like this game, but after playing the sports route I found weird some interactions with the girls, for example I was with Paige and with the way we interacted I would consider this an official relationship, but then I went with June on a date, had sex and later we kissed with Leslie and in neither of those events I was given a choice to stop going for more.

It would make sense if this was a harem, but this supposedly isn't so it feels a bit weird that nobody acknowledged the fact that we are cheating, nor we had the choice to prevent going further than a friendly date...

I still wanna make another playthrough on the music route and another girl, hopefully things make a bit more sense there.

Best guess I have is that, just like real life, you can still cheat on a LI. I don't know if there'll be a "decision point" to decide what LI you like, or if it'll just grow naturally as part of the LI paths. I hope it'll just grow naturally in the paths, as it feels more organic. The LIs may find out and some point, depending on the writing.

Overall most choices are pretty self-explanatory, for example you can do airsoft with Alyssa and if you don't kiss her at the end it's a friendly social event. If you kiss her, things move down the more serious route. But again, that's somewhat self-explanatory.

The very last scene of the newest update (blanking on her name) if you accept to go on the walk with her, you automatically profess feelings and kiss. Even if you wanted to go on a different path; or were terrified of her sweater if you said you were scared of orange. So you have to skip it entirely in order to not have that scene. There should have been a friend path to it, or a note that you are going on an official date.

I agree. Most of the text is pretty bland and recycled from scene to scene and game to game:

• Fuck me hard
• Harder / Faster
• Take it
• Do you like it?
• It's so big! / Do you like it this big?
• It's rearranging my guts (or some variation)

I'd personally rather have sound that fit and in sync what is being seen on the screen. And even then, most of the time it's not in sync or waaaay too loud in a video format that doesn't respect Ren'Py volume settings.

Don't forget voiced moans (synced or not synced) not tied to the voice volume slider in Ren'Py but treated like a sound effect instead.
