That`s not entirely what I mean. Like for example, I get invited to Alyssa party. And I take neighbor girl, Hailey I think, when we arrive she gets overwhelmed and goes outside. There is a choice to go sit outside with her. But it turns out it is another LIs( whats her name ? Brooke I think) route event. How could I predicted this ? Thats what I mean where could I interact with them ? Like if Hailey said "Hey there is my friend Brooke outside I go hang with her come join us" and there was a choice go with them or I spot Paige for example and go hang out with her instead. Thats a choice I understand consequences of. But as it is in the game I land on Brooke path unintentionally and guess - Will I miss another path I am more interested in because of this ?As to 'Where can I interact with them?" It's not an open world or sandbox game so you follow the rails. You just go through each scene, making the decisions that you want. If you kiss Alyssa after Airsoft, you change rails to a new path and get specific scenes about her... if you don't you are on another set of rails that have different scenes.
Don't get me wrong, this is not a deal breaker for me and I could have easily overlooked this if not for my main grief with the game. Scenes with LIs are short as it is, so if there is less meaningless filler(for me) between those scenes the better. I dont wanna guess like what if I chose this or that will I get more scenes with LI I am not interested at this time or less ?
I mean visuals are good, writing is solid too. So I am little salty I guess, there is not that many big high quality games like this, I wanted to like it but couldn't get into it.
Playing again implying playing it at least once. But why would I play it all the way through if I am not having fun ?It's almost like you guys can play this wonderful game again with previous insight.
But to each their own I guess, I don`t want to discourage people from trying this game. Maybe I will give it another go in a year or so.
