Ren'Py - Abandoned - What a Legend! [v0.6.02] [MagicNuts]

Amazing art and amazing story for me its really interesting with fun but sadl y sadly i cant recommend playing right now.
Reason for that ? welllll sadly game hardly gets updated and we waiting like 2 years for just one girl scenes nothing more prob that gonna be like 1 or 2 hoour worth update so ? dont play it until complete otherwise you gonna get mad pretty fast other than this this is really good game with good characters they are really sexy and scenes good too and art amazing too i like it sadly waiting for updates torture so up to you playing or not.

Very enjoyable game. Remind me of Summertime Saga with a universe of lore medieval and fantasy, and also with more sophisticated renders.
The ladies are voluptuous and charming.

I'm not gonna considerate the hiatus of the game being "abandoned", it's a shame obviously because it such a good one, I'm just gonna be thankful to being able to have a fun experience with it, and it would be a fantastic bonus if the dev start again to put new versions in the future.

The story is extremely linear and lacks player agency. The world map is fully functional, but there is usually only one place to go to advance the story. Characters look fine. Art looks decent but I would rather play AI game at this point. Adult content is vanilla as can be. The sex scenes are very boring to read and are of much lower quality compared to the rest of the game.
So I have to rate this game as the full-time project it claims to be - 1.5 star it is.
I recommend avoiding this game. The limited amount of porn content in this game is not worth your time.
This got nothing to do with the game itself: This game never deserved the attention and support it got, here is the result - abandoned tag and slowdown of development.
Have fun supporting "games" whose only selling point is an art style.

This was awesome. Great art, and I wasn't asked to read paragraphs. All the dialog was short and sweet. Its too bad this shows abandoned because I would love to finish the story. Damn, i wish the fairy had a longer story too.

This game is insane!!! Looks great, have lots of good quality content and boobs Big, small what do you want .
It has a great story and plot. The pictures are very nicely done. A completely different game than all the others. You just have to wait a long time for updates.

What a Legend! has a great story, characters, and plenty of potential for expanding content (especially for Holly, Serena & Simone, etc... and the planned ones). I truly hope that MagicNuts has not abandoned this game.

First things first. Your choices don't matter. This is definitely kinetic novel. So, if you're looking for branching story, this ones not for you.

That being said, its excellent! Lots of beautiful LIs, nicely paced relationship building, and hot lewd scenes. The general story is also not too bad, mostly fun and the side stories keep you engaged. The planned content also looks good. The hint or guide system works quite while, I never had a hard time progressing any story line I wanted.

The art is stellar. From the girls, to the various backgrounds/areas, to the lewd content, all really great. The animations are not overly involved, mostly just short loops, but they are executed well and add an enjoyable extra element to the playthrough.

This game easily deserves to be near the top of the 2DCG rankings.

Incredible visual novel. The art is great – several tiers above what I expected. Story is cheesy in a good way – perfect for a "parody of fantasy". Even though the progress is slow each update adds sizeable amount of content. The girls are all original and you get to know them and actually care about their fates the further into the story you go.

Absolutely gorgeous art. I loved the aesthetic & please add the scenes of the wallgate guard's wife as I like milf. I like the story & the world building. This enriches it soo much. The lore that is being hinted is very deep. I also suggest leaving some things like the devil or some villains unsaid & leaving it up to the fantasy of the viewer which sells the creepy atmosphere soo much better. I hope u make bucket loads of money from this

A ren'py VN carried hard by the art, the only downside is the delays between updates.

Honestly, wait is over for me. When the first time i play this game i liked it so much, stick to the point, no bullshit, easy to play and easy to follow. Nice animations, great drawing and characters, story is also alright but man one and half a year for an update is unnacceptable for me. I wanted to give immediately 5 star while playing but i won't and if this keeps up i'm not going to change my review.

It is not like they are building a AAA story and game probs the new story will take 5-7 hours and it is only a one character update they are doing.. Not the whole game and characters. I maybe understand this kind of wait for a whole story and characters but no, this is like a terrible joke.

At least hire people if you can't handle.

Telling the player to go to the bridge is a hint, but then what? A walk through would be better suited.
I had a save file from forever ago. Can't really tell because it only lists the month and day. Guessing the year is omitted?

Any way, I do like the 2dcg, and the renders looked pretty good up to the point where I said, fuck it and quit. Which was not very far into the story.

This VN isn't for me, but don't let it spoil it for yourself. I just like more "hint" when getting hints. I feel like a walk through would be better suited for this VN. But that's just my opinion.

A great game and one of my absolute favorites. Graphics are a highlight, but the whole "not taking yourself too serious" and overall sense of humor is the true protagonist. The MC is not a loser living with the perennial set of a (step)mother and a (step)sister and looking for a scape of his boring life in their basement, he's also not a hero. It's a regular dude trying to figure it out like the rest of us, and that's relatable. The NPCs and models are all fun.
I understand the frustration of those claiming that the story is "lineal" but let's face it, it didn't bother us with "Summertime saga" so... The development might be slow, but you show me any other game giving a detailed chart of their progress not hidden beyond a paywall and I'll give that game 5 stars too.
Great art, fun plot, a relatable MC, hot models (really hot) plenty of clever pop culture références. What's there not to like.

Damn a porn game with an interesting story , lovable female characters that seem plausible a are not just there to be fucked by Mc , no disgusting kinks that ruin the experience and genuine love and romance for once , a ton of content and writing that you don't just skip because it's annoying and go directly to the porn that's new , the only but it's that's updates take a long time but for this quality it is worth it because devs just don't disappear and only talk after and update and leave no they interact with their supporters of which I am one , people get pissed because this update is taking a long time just because dev is the coder/writer and his wife is the artist and animator of the game they have had and operation and a child on this last year and the have been busy with that and that's understandable so if people instead of being entitled pricks have some humanity they would understand

The game is too linear and the content is still not complete. There are too many limitations in its content. On the other hand, it should have been designed as an RPG game but it's not, there's no reason to play this game twice and you might get bored and quit even on the first playthrough because there are too many requirements to trigger scenes. Overall it's not a fun game and only the drawings are good.

literally the best game, unique animations, beautiful story and super investing. would highly recommend if you're bored of the normal 3d vn games. really excited for the new update, just cant wait. i fr want people to discover it more so that the creators dont ever abondon it.

Not a fan of this type of quest games. 2D Graphics look awesomes which is sad because I really like them, but the style of the game is just not for me. Someone else will like it but it's not for me, that's all.

Amount of content: the amount of content is lot, but its feels like how dragonball universe only freshes out universe 6 instead of the other universe i guess thats because the game is not at is matured stage yet

The game concept is okay, and was well executed for some time.


It's an extremely linear story, hidden behind choices that sadly don't change anything about the progression of the game and a fully working world map that let's yo go wherever is currently unlocked. Sadly, there's almost always only a single place you have to go to progress the story, and everywhere else will be devoid of any meaningful interactions. To it's credit, the humor is kinda good, and the static graphics are great in their own genre.

The updates are what makes this game worthy of nothing more than a single star review. I've never seen a game with updates that are so rare, with so much time in between, but with so little content added each time. It's actually mind boggling how stretched thin the content has been. Even considering every scene is probably hand drawn, it doesn't make any sense, unless the dev just works on the game one or two weeks per year.

Don't waste your time playing this game. The few lewd scenes that are present are NOT worthy of your time. At this rate, this game will still be "in development" in a decade.
