Android issues
Even though the Android versions available were ported unofficially by players, they work well on most devices. With 0.5, though, we have received reports that some phones and tablets experience issues when loading more resource-heavy scenes (i.e., sex scenes).
Why is that? Because I did not make the game with Android devices in mind (it is hard to do that given the variety of devices out there), and I had not done any Android testing either, since it would have taken us even longer to release 0.5 had I done that. The sex scenes in 0.5 use more images per loop (20 rather than 12), and some of them are larger than 1920x1080 pixels. The vast majority of phones and tablets can run the game, of course, but some can't.
What can those players who experience issues do? In the first place, I suggest you try Joiplay. I have heard from many players who had problems with the Android version that they could resolve their issues using Joiplay (together with its Ren'py plugin).
Additionally, I will try to see if there is anything else that can be done to resolve this issue for current players. I can't promise a solution, and I'm not going to change the existing (and functioning) code, but perhaps modifying the framerate or making an Android-only version with fewer images per loop will do the trick.

I have a pc and being very old I encountered the same problems ... could you lighten the animated images of the last update and make them the same size as the update myrtle? it is really a regret to have the game compromised like this .. or if you have other ideas for pc give me some advice .. anyway amazing game keep it up, it is true that the last update was really very important and complicated ..

0.5's serious part
We have received a lot of messages and comments from players and patrons to the effect that they are happy with the content of 0.5 and don't mind and even enjoy its more serious parts.
I think I need to clarify the situation since perhaps 'serious' wasn't the right term. When we were planning 0.5, it was by far the most difficult update we had made. It had a lot of things to achieve: get us inside the city, introduce Simmone, advance Lana's personal story, resolve her issues, unlock the mansion, introduce us to Sev, rescue Madeline, and do these in a way that would allow us to add sex scenes in the middle and include enough humor and action to keep things interesting. The one bit that I wasn't sure of was from Lana's first vaginal sex until her rescue from the pillory. I remember us thinking it lacked humor and was a tad too dramatic without many fun events. We added the time magic and foreshadowed what was going to happen to Serena, but we didn't have more ideas and had to move on. You can imagine that when after months, we heard some of our testers voice the same concerns we had (because we asked them to be brutally honest and critical), it made sense to us, and this time, we could see a solution. That's why we said we were going to make some changes.
What were the changes we had in mind?

• Sev speaks to the MC twice, once telling him he has the Gift and then the next day about how he is going to die. The main information shared in the second scene could easily have been included in the first one. By removing the second discussion, we wanted to reduce repetitiousness and shorten that part a little.
• Lana attacked the MC with a dagger, looking for the runestone. We thought that was a bit too much, and instead, we decided we could remove the scene entirely and have a serious chat when she's in the pillory.
• With Lana believing the MC quicker, we wanted to add an additional cutscene in the pillory. This would have been a tough one, as we thought we could do something slightly sexy and light-hearted without messing up the overall seriousness of her situation.

That's it. We thought these changes would improve the update, and our plan was to do them during the weekend. We weren't going to say that, of course, in case we needed the last six days of September. But when we saw people's negative reactions to our decision to work a few more days on the update, we simply didn't have the energy to deal with it.
But anyway, that's over now, and we're just so relieved that most of you enjoyed the update.
Will we still make these changes in 0.6? That was our initial plan when we announced the release last week. But right now, we just want to focus on Rose's content and haven't sat down to discuss what we'll do with those changes. Perhaps we'll change them in 0.6, perhaps with the next part of the Main Story, and perhaps we keep the content as it is and spend our time developing new stuff.

What's next?
Starting tomorrow, we will begin planning Rose's story. I cannot tell you anything about it until after the planning phase is done, but it will be somewhat similar to Myrtle's update structurally.
Lastly, we will take Sundays off again.

This game is awesome. Especially how they handled humor and story. And the plot despite it's goofiness doesn't treat player as dumbass who needs explaining every second. For example when we heal Lana's eye through time sand but it doesn't work at first, however after mc ordered to get old - the curse was broken implying that her eye wasn't destroyed but rather was sealed. The player doesn't get the explanation how did that work, but he gets enough hints to get the picture

I wonder if Gomira will get her update after Rose because as far as I remember Rose only won over Gomira by like one vote or something in the poll for v0.6. Tho I guess it would be fair to make another poll to really make sure what or who people want to see in 0.7 when that comes out later down the line. I personally think the updates alternating between character focused ones and story updates would be the best course of action. In any case I can't wait for my girl Rose to step into the spotlight next and steal people's hearts just like Myrtle and Lana did previously.

PS: I really love how even story updates cover entire or atleast a large margin of a character's arc like with Lana in the most recent one. That probably means that Madeline's content will be linked to the story as well if I had to guess.

Yeah, I would suggest upgrading your RAM to at least 8 GB because half of the Ram is eaten by OS system processes... and even after this, I am still not sure that would be enough, cause your processor which was released in 2010 and 32-bit operating system can be the problem too.
This is going to be the start of software and games not running or are really unstable on your computer, this will only increase as time goes on.

Well, I came for porn, but I stayed for the story, which is a pretty huge accomplishment for a porn game really. Frankly, even without any lewd content I would keep coming beck simply because the story is captivating, the art is amazing and the characters are likable. Reading the last weekly report, I think the testers were in the wrong here, and the way this update turned out was overall better considering the proposed changes were in my opinion unnecessary. Sure, Lana's story is grim, but that's ok, there's nothing wrong with that. Hell, losing your eye is not a laughing matter to begin with, so it makes perfect sense for her part to be on a more serious note compared to the rest. A lighthearted story is not spoiled by having some more grim and serious elements. Those elements can help to shine light and emphasize the more cheerful parts to make them stand out better. Same with Lana pulling a dagger on the MC. That's completely in line with her personality and backstory. Nothing wrong with Lana being Lana, so I hope those elements stay as they are, as they do not harm the story, but actually make it better.

You tell them devs they better not change the story! Everyone who has read webcomics knows the way to get readers is to lure them in with teh funnies and then hit them with the drama.
Getting more serious in a game isn't a bad thing. On the contrary, it helps us to get more engaged. If it's all about funny, we don't care about the people we fuck. If things turns serious, we know the stakes are heavier and we'll be more invested in the story and characters.
So, for the scenes they'd like to change, Sev giving the information about the Gift and telling him he'll die, that's a bit too much to digest in one go. It's better now with it being spread. Lana pulling the dagger makes perfect sense and, dare I say, shows her true self. She's a woman who's been severely traumatized and has trust issues. That honestly makes the sex better since it shows she trusts us. It's no longer casual sex, but, well, love. After all, LI means Love Interest, not Casual Sex Interest.

I usually don't comment a lot but I really enjoyed this new release.
The arc story with Lana was really sweet, and her relation with the MC cute, even more enjoyable than the sex scenes (which are really good of course). Thanks a lot for this story. Keep up the good work

I have been playing this game since the first version and am still impressed with the graphics.

There are a lot of details in the sets which are super well done and the characters are pleasant to watch (well ... not all eh Waldo).

The story is very interesting to follow and there are a lot of funny passages, it's very nice to do. The musics are also pleasant to listen to (a small pity I find that there is not any inside the city, but it is a detail).

Seeing the posters behind the guard at the entrance to the dungeon, I hope we will see at least one female guard, their armor looks interesting.

The only real "negative point" that I can give is that it is not translated into my language (in French) so there are some things that must escape me ahah.

But in any case, it's a great job done by the artists for this game, a big bravo to them and good luck for the future !
