Now the report:
Chestnut:
Chestnut worked on cutscenes and sprites, making new hands and facial expressions for Rose and the main character that will be used in her first quest. She also started several new cutscenes and advanced the work on the previous ones.
Pistachio:
I finished editing the first draft of the dialogues and spent the rest of the week posing scenes from Rose's initial events. The 0.6 update has about 30k words -- That's 10k more than Myrtle's and 10k less than 0.5. It will need to be heavily edited still (basically until the day we release it), but our earlier plan of having it be similar to Myrtle's ended up changing after a lot of testing and editing. Rose will have a longish intro, followed by two quests, the second one of which leads to the third and final event (the third quest if you want to call it, but it's more of the conclusion of everything that happened in the intro). I hope it will make more sense after the release, and we like that it's not a copy of our previous updates.
What's next?
Chestnut is going to continue adding to the sprite expressions we need for the posing. She will also try to advance as many of the cutscenes as she can.
I will focus mostly on editing the scenes and fixing any bugs I notice while doing so. Adding bag item notifications and other minor coding tasks will also be on my to-do list.
