At least the number of remaining bugs isn't going up.

This feels like when a parent tells you to do something within the count of three. When you don't do it even at two, they start going "two and a half, two and three quarters". That's how it feels seeing these numbers supposedly going down according to the devs

It's funny how probably in 2018-19 when a dev for any game on this site took a while people defended em for the most part cause shit happens. However these days Devs just magically lose the ability to put put out updates or shit magically comes up in life when the monthly amount rises on their Patreon/SS

Now don't get me wrong I haven't played What a Legend in many months so I'm not going crazy to play it but it's still annoying lol

I’m just waiting for the next drama:

"We had a power surge today and it fried all our hard drives, including our backup hard drives. All our hard work over the last two years has been lost! Don’t worry, we are working tirelessly to redo everything. And since we were almost done already, we know exactly what we need to do to get over the line. And as you can see from our progress status:

"All the planning is already done, and that's the hard part, so we are in a good position to finish soon. Keep those subscriptions rolling in, we need you more now than ever!"

If this update doesn't cure cancer at this point they're cooked.
we all know what's next though. the short rushed update scrambled together in few weeks, with promises of a giant final update finishing the story in one quick swoop.

and if that unlikely final update ever comes, it shits on all prior plot development and pretty much just throws the mc dick first at the main girl with no effort required and calls the game completed.

The hell are you guys complaining about we get this shit for free yeah the updates are slow but that happens. This game is not demon boy, milftoon grounded, heart problems, divine adventure or any of the other games that either failed ow were abandoned like dark star trainer.
My guy
updates were chugging along just fine then it took 2 years for 1 update, not a revamp, not a tech update, just route for 1 girl

I mean fuck it takes me a long time to get my work out too. I'm an incredibly detail-oriented and very slow worker, and that's why I don't have a patreon. That's why I don't set release dates, I'm not going to hit them. Nobody gets mad at me when my work is slow cause they aren't paying for it on a monthly basis.

People need to understand that these patreon games are not free, they're a subscription service for gullible people who are essentially buying us all a copy 10x over.

Call me crazy, but I think we're gonna get another incompetency report card next week. Maybe they'll have another ready-made excuse at their disposal such as "We're having our fifth child!" or "Guys... I gotta go in for surgery again... I broke a nail". At this point I know more about the devs personal lives than what they've actually done in terms of working on the game. I just love when you work with somebody incompetent, and they throw their life story on you as a means of excusing work they just don't wanna do but could.

You know what is funny, they actually didn't need any extra excuses.

Before they started working on this update they asked their supporters if they preferred "small" or "big" updates and they picked the last option. Now the problem, there is no "big" update for comparison so if someone asked they only needed to say "But that's what a *BIGGER* update is, it requires much more time than the *smaller* ones you know."

So in my opinion they just wasted good excuses that they could very well used in other circumstances, but that's their problem now.

In the off chance that they do start giving a new excuse, how do you guys think the people would react? My guess is that there will be some expected outrage here, but the people who are still supporters are essentially cultists and they wouldn't care. So nothing would change.
