This Vs. Summertime Saga which will makes their update first lol
But with this speed, we might be Q3/4 of 2024. It better be a huge update...View attachment 3220137
92.94% and the total keeps growing.
"With this speed" it went from being 91.5%, on 28th Dec, to being 92.2%, on 31st Dec.But with this speed, we might be Q3/4 of 2024. It better be a huge update...
Patrons chose to have updates done this way. Their opinion is obviously far more relevant and important, to the business, than that of pirates.I believe, if this update has taught us anything it's that magicnuts needs to plan how they release their future updates better.
After they've completed their initial planning and made an estimate on the amount of work required they should then make a call on if they should break their story into, 1 or more parts. While it's great getting a completed story arc. Waiting over a year is just bad project management in my opinion.
While I'm sure the Gomira update will be just as good as their earlier work. I think it would have been better managed if they had split the update in half and released a part 1 sometime around April to June. That way we'd be only waiting on the second half now rather then the full update.
Hi whichone, I taught you put me on your ignore list. Anyway I still think breaking an extra large update into 2 large updates is a better system then just continuing on, over a year with just a single update.Patrons chose to have updates done this way. What you consider "bad project management", facts paint as being major events in their lives taking away large portions of the predicted available time - a new child & 2 operations will do that.
I still think the world would be a better place if there was only sausage with cheese in it. But hey, what can you do? And also, who besides me even cares?Hi whichone, I taught you put me on your ignore list. Anyway I still think breaking an extra large update into 2 large updates is a better system then just continuing on, over a year with just a single update.
I'm not really sure I agree here. When patreons were asked, I don't think anyone expected updates this long - least of all MagicNuts themselves. I voted for longer updates, but given the choice again, I'd probably vote for a shorter one if this is the alternative.Patrons chose to have updates done this way.
Longer updates + life changing events + risk of project gets abandoned for various reasons = you thought this will go smoothly?I'm not really sure I agree here. That's not bashing the developers – you know I'm on the same side of the argument in this thread and I've argued time and again that their reasons for the delays are reasonable. I just think that vote was made under circumstances that aren't 100 % valid for the discussion any longer.
To be fair & correct, this is not "the alternative", it's an exception. There's a vast difference.I'm not really sure I agree here. I voted for longer updates, but given the choice again, I'd probably vote for a shorter one if this is the alternative.

The race is on!This Vs. Summertime Saga which will makes their update first lol

And the next update I want to see unicorns and mermaids...
Well she already escaped, she is in the whorehouse...I just wanna smash the orc chick in the prison, is that too much to ask for?
Yeh I wasn't talking about 91.5 % on 28dec, I posted 91.5% like 2-3 weeks back... So that's a much slower progress..."With this speed" it went from being 91.5%, on 28th Dec, to being 92.2%, on 31st Dec.
That means it took 3 days for a 0.7% total increase.
There is 7.8% remaining. If it continues "with this speed", it would take circa 34 days.
Give it a couple of months, it should be close.
They stated a few times that this is the largest update they've done, yet. Given that the previous ones have all been a decent size, I see no cause for alarm.
You really did not.I posted 91.5% like 2-3 weeks back...
I hope you are right, it was my previous account where I posted, that some admin squandered again. You really did not.
Exactly 3 weeks ago, 10th Dec, it was 90.2%.
5 days later, 15th Dec, it was 90.7%.
That's "2-3 weeks back". Today, it's 92.2%
2% total increase over the last 3 weeks, with 7.8% remaining.
Gives an estimate of 12 weeks from now, "with this speed".
Not Q3/4. That's a bit needlessly dramatic.![]()
