Hi everybody.
Here's a summary of what we did last week:

Pistachio
Even though I said it would be unlikely for me to finish the base writing by today in the last report, I secretly hoped I would be able to do it (probably feeling overly confident after completing all of the coding tasks for the structure of the update). But as it turns out, writing the first draft takes longer than I remembered, and I managed to finish roughly a third of the exchanges between characters. Additionally, I fixed several issues that I had noticed earlier with the code in scenes that needed to be debugged before the writing could continue.
Next week's plan
Chestnut will continue to work on sprites, designing a new character, and creating new hands and facial features for the existing ones. Even though Rose has already played an important role in both the Main Story and Myrtle's side-quest, she's missing some basic facial expressions since she's one of the first characters Chestnut created, and so adding more eyes and hands will be necessary.
Unless I notice a bug that needs to be fixed immediately, I will focus entirely on doing more writing tasks. We have already noticed that we need two extra dialogues to improve the pacing of the introduction to the events of the update, and if I have the time, I will also work on those changes.
Upcoming polls

Yes, because the Old King already said that the children of Elves are always Elves so the MC doesn't have any Elven ancestry.

Easy to miss but the Old King did day it "Elves beget Elves" so yeah King Vil has no hand in the MC's existence.

On the other hand, this is a magic world. It's feasible that someone could have used a spell to hide MC's elven features.

Didn't the old elf say that the master power him and MC share isn't only for Elves? The others are though because those seemed to be passed down as hereditary thing right?

So I don't think we need to force the idea of the MC being an elf whose ears have been with some kind of magic is necessary, it just sounds too convoluted and requires an even bigger explanation than anything else they can go with naturally.

The old king also said the Master power would kill the MC because he isn't an Elf. He also sensed that Lana was a descendant of his. So my guess is, the old king is able to sense whether or not the MC is an elf.

Its all a moot point anyway, because whatever we might try to speculate about the MC, 95% of what is described will probably be chucked out the window when the relevant update happens. I mean, I could theorise that the reason why Rose might not be able to jump the MC's bones is because of her power, or at least what she fears. For all we know, her power is tied to the Master Power, think of her power like a giant padlock and the Master power being one of those ridiculously elaborate medieval keys, so its the only one that can tap that power safely. And yes, all those mental images and innuendos are absolutely meant to refer to Rose getting plucked by the MC.

Here's my crackpot theory: So we know time manipulation is possible, as are transformation spells. What if the MC actually *is* Old Sev, sent forward in time, transformed into a human, and with his memories wiped and replaced with false ones of growing up in a brothel? The ghost that we meet is the MC in the future, who went back to the past after learning he's actually an elf, so he could get a second harem, build the cursed manor, then die in his study to complete the time loop. Sev is just lying his ass off because he knows that telling the MC the truth will break the loop and cause a paradox.

I got bored and dropped BaDIK pretty early but let me guess: The theories are incest fetishists madly scrambling to figure out how the game could still potentially have incest with the MC's mom, despite her being dead.

I think any character with a vagina has had plenty of incest theories at this point. That just covers a small part of the total nutbaggery, though. I tend not to commit the nonsense to memory...
