a year without updates sucks ass, but I like that we get a weekly report about how far they have come. Unlike some other gamrs (something unlimted) I have hopes for this game.
Based on the progress so far, I estimate about 3 months. Give or take...

Hi, everybody.
I hope you've had a great week. Here's what we did:
Chestnut:
She worked mostly on sprites, finishing up the nude base for Gomira (see this video), and doing hands and extra outfits for Mei. There were also a few hands she drew for one of the update's antagonists. Additionally, she worked on work-in-progress cutscenes from both the first and the second quests (one of which we posted as a spoiler image).
Pistachio:
I did pretty much what I had planned to do. I wrote a couple of new dialogues (when editing wasn't enough and the whole approach had to change), coded in some artworks, and added a different form of ATL animation (that's Renpy's term for using its functions to visually transform media) for one of the earlier cutscenes, which took me more time than I had anticipated, but I love the final outcome so it was worth it, and did a lot of editing.
Next week's plan:
The current editing should keep me busy during the weekend (including tonight), but starting Monday, I will drop whatever I'm working on and begin posing a new dialogue.
Chestnut wants to finish more sprite elements, and in between different characters will work on cutscenes.

D ridingCame here just to check how things were going since its been a while and I find all these clowns complaining about the game not being finished in an unreasonable amount of time, had some good laughs so thanks for that
Anyways I hope the devs are doing well
A bit too much delusion here, so just to bring a little balance to the universe I'll point out that this game will never be finished.

I am sure the weekly updates from the 2 person development team who are husband and wife that had a baby in the middle of developing one of the largest updates to the game to date is just a figment of everyone's imagination.
If you are new to What A Legend you could try asking instead "I am new to the game and see it has been a long time since that last update but within the last couple of pages I noticed that they do weekly update. Could someone please catch me up on what is going on?"
What is the fun in that ? Complaining seems to be the way to go...
Meaning really finished, it's possible, the dead wizard already told him that he had thousands of magic powers or so (It's been a year already). And MC only has a few now. Meaning he needs to fuck a lot of woman. Having that he only fucks 1 woman for every update, so they could go on forever. Not sure if they have an real end planning, or only in large lines, and every update is made up in the moment.
As for the next update, they seem to be somewhere at 75-80%, and with over 1 year of the last update, it means it could take a few months.

Fine, fine, 20-25 minutes. Is that better? You're clicking through a bunch of still images and reading bland flavour text to get to the porn. There's no deep story, there's no complicated gameplay, even the animations are not particularly complex, yet here we are 13 months since the last update, with roughly 22.2% left for them to develop. If we assume a similar progress rate for that final 22.2% then we're probably looking at another three months with possibly more. So no content for 15 months... and your defence is that you're a slow reader?
There are approximately 44k words on 0.6 update, which means if you finish it in 25 minutes then your reading speed is 1760 words per minute. Average reading speed is about 240 words per minute so congratulations, your reading speed is greatly above the average. If your reading comprehension with that speed is above 50%, I highly recommend you to join World Speed-Reading Championships
That is impressive and we all know that I am being somewhat hyperbolic but most of the dialogue in this game is easily skipped and you'll lose nothing. Most of the text in this game is pointless drivel used to extend the time between scenes. They say in three paragraphs what could have been said in one sentence. So yes, I can get through 44,000 words in 20ish minutes because I'm not reading most of it because I don't need to read most of it. A quick scan is all that's actually necessary with 99% of the dialogue. When it comes down to actual content that requires action from the player there's only a few minutes of anything other than clicking between areas. So between that and the porno, 15-25 minutes is accurate whether you like it or not.
Sir, this is a point and click ren'py game that is focused on it story. If you want a game with less words and more player input, I do believe you're in a wrong genre
