Actually you are wrong, incest doesn't require the people involved on it to be blood related, it's still includes relationship between those that are "close related" which includes adoption, the case in question here.

Now before you say that I'm wrong let tell you beforehand that the devs themselves decided to make those changes to avoid breaking the new Patreon ToS, so you are basically saying that they are wrong.

If Patreon would complain about it ir not we will never know for sure, sincerely I have no doubt that all you needed was to complain for them to immediately take action, considering those changes were all made to avoid getting in trouble with their payment providers, they would rather be safe than sorry, which is precisely what Magicnuts decided to do.

The changes weren't even that bad. They just changed the intro a bit. Made the mc 19 instead of 18 and made it so that his adopted moms' were going to get some of the younger brothel girls to fuck him for his birthday instead of them going to fuck him. It's not a big deal everything else, is completely left alone aside from those couple of lines in the prologue. Mc never fucks anyone of them anyway because he secretly leaves home before his birthday surprise is presented to him. But the adopted moms are minor characters, didn't have any content even before the changes and don't appear outside of the prologue. The only reason why anyone is upset is because there was a planned epilogue scene with the adopted moms that got cut and they want faux incest even this was never really an incest game in the first place. We're also way too faraway from the end of the game to really worry about the epilogue

It wasn't just that. Forgive me for forgetting everyone's name, but they removed the scene of peeking at the beggar elf's chest while she is drunk. And when he gets shrunk and sleeps with the pixie, they added lines to clarify that he is completely lucid.

Basically, it's like how in mcu movies, they aren't allowed to show a female villain getting killed by a male hero, so they have to come up with convoluted scenarios to make them dead. Once you start noticing the pattern, it becomes hard to not notice when the natural flow of story is interrupted to include a corporate mandated disclaimer about consent.

It's in the patch notes. Maybe they didn't do version control very well and the changes got undone in a later update? In that case, one of you puritans must report it to the authorities immediately!

Dev took a wrong, old version when he created one of the latest patches, but everything is fixed back in the current version. As DemiMaximoff says, the scene with Lana at the bridge was modified to delete the groping part, and the text before Maple's sex scene now explicitly reflects the MC's capacity to consent is not affected by the magical mushroom. Also, he is 19 throughout the whole game.

Note that this game is their only income source and devs don't want to gamble with platforms' rules, so they'll probably abide to whatever they think it's needed and won't try to circumvent any of them. So far, these forced changes are also minimal and don't really affect the big picture.

I don't agree at all. There are over 20K games on this site, and most of them aren't making much money at all. I make more money just working a normal job than Magic Nuts does making this game (and mine is a solo wage, Magic Nuts is a team effort).

This game is ranked 23 on this website right now; they've done well, and earned their spot. They were ranked even higher when they were churning out updates, but their excessive delays caused their ranking to take a hit (plus I think the quality has gone down, but that's just my opinion).

There are some games that are raking it in, but they are the outliers.

You gotta have something people want, and most people suck at delivering anything.
