Oi pessoal.
Espero que todos estejam bem.

Na semana passada, iniciamos um enquete para determinar quais cidades e locais do mundo as pessoas estão mais ansiosas para ver e, embora não vamos postar os resultados porque este enquete não tem dados para terminar, ainda é interessante conferir. e veja como diferentes cidades estão se saindo até agora (e vote se ainda não o fez). Talvez não seja surpreendente que a Nova Capital seja a favorita, pois será o maior mapa que temos; o que é mais surpreendente é a popularidade de Hump Town, um lugar que não acredito que tenhamos mencionado no jogo antes. Planejamos projetá-lo no estilo das histórias de 1001 Noites e esperamos adicioná-lo ao jogo quando por uma hora certa.

Falando em adicionar novas cidades, Chestnut terminou o mapa em que estava trabalhando, completo com todos os locais, botões e variações dia/noite. Não posso revelar qual cidade é, e usaremos apenas uma de suas localizações na versão 0.7 (semelhante a como adicionamos Cin Town na versão 0.6), mas acho que as pessoas vão gostar. Ela também completou uma cutscene para um evento opcional, mas em trânsito, e iniciou outra cutscene maior e mais sexy.

Tenho trabalhado no evento final da primeira missão de Gomira, adicionando novos diálogos, apresentando personagens e modificando o código em uma instância, o que acredito melhorar. Estou progredindo, mais devagar do que gostaria, pois este evento envolve vários novos personagens que atendem um desenvolvimento com cuidado, mas progredindo da mesma forma. Na próxima semana, pretendo fazer algo diferente (para variar um pouco) e trabalhar na apresentação dos eventos de viagem de 0,7 (já codifiquei). Adicione também o novo mapa ao jogo.

Chestnut continuará trabalhando nas cutscenes, primeiro terminando a que ela começou recentemente e, depois, planeja jogar o jogo algumas vezes para testar tudo o que foi feito até agora, anotar as tarefas de arte necessárias e fornecer feedback sobre o novo conteúdo que adicionoui ao jogo desde a última vez que ela o testou.

Northern hemisphere summer break has only just started, and I'm already contemplating checking out of the site for a few months again because every! single! thread! is an endless stream of college* students insisting games with regular progress updates are abandoned somehow, two posts after the last over-caffeinated howler monkey made a fool of themself.

*—"college" in the same definitely, totally, honestly university and not high school being called "college" to get around Patreon rules way as a lot of the games on this site.

so here we have 3 people working on this game and the updates are so slow because there are not many people working on the game so that's why we have slow updates.

Patrons have contributed nearly 100k since the last update 10 months ago. Wouldn't a smaller update make more sense at this point?

MEGA has a (IIRC) 4GB per day limit, so if somebody has already downloaded a game today (unless it was some 200MB, version 0.0.1 demo) then WaL would push them over that limit.

If you are going through the web, you can always use a VPN to change your location, but that won't work with a downloader.

Hi, everybody.
I hope you're all doing well. Here's a summary of what we have done since the last report:

Chestnut:
She finished the last sprite we were missing for 0.7, and although it still needs facial expressions and hands/gestures, it's good to see the design aspect completed. In addition, she worked on two work-in-progress cutscenes and started and almost finished (her work for the weekend) another looping background/cutscene.

Pistachio:
I had planned to add the new map, but I got so busy with different tasks that I haven't done that yet. Instead, I coded in a new sprite, completed a travel event, and added some game-like elements to existing content to make the quest more interactable and engaging. Additionally, I did a lot of reading and editing, some of which resulted in extra edit tasks being added to the progress tracker.

Next week's plan:
Chestnut will finish the loop she's working on, do some testing (she didn't have the time last week), and she wants to redo and improve one of the new backgrounds.
I plan to spend most of my time posing scenes from Gomira's first quest, and I also want to add the new map (even if it's just the base code without animating it).

FAQ states transfer limit is not daily, but 6-hours.
But more mirrors would be nice, anonfiles and filesfm sites seems to be down.
