It won't be abandoned, at least not yet.
The question is how long it'll continue before the whole "Patreon(by many confused with charity) formula" will stop working.
The game was first released in 2020 and you can justify it as much as you want, but v.0.6 in almost 4 years speaks for itself. I'm in any case interested in the orc female.

One of the less discussed aspect of the current situation is that this entire project started because the nuts were stuck at home due to the pandemic in 2020. Nobody back then knew if they'll even make it through the year alive or not. That was the unique circumstance that allowed for such a game to begin development.
Now that the world is "normal" again, and they know that they won't die at any moment from a nebulous disease, it only makes sense that our devs have gone back to their regular routine. It would take another pandemic if you want the same productivity from them.

Yep,is obvious that What a legend was a pandemic project that got too popular.
It makes sense that they were all in in this game back in 2020-2021 and now that life is back to normal the game is the backburner.
They are making almost 7k a month. I would call that quite a motivation to not be just a backburner...

Have they discussed going back to the old days of shorter smaller updates? These grand all in one updates might have been okay before they had 10 kids but it seems to be way too slow now.
