Yep,is obvious that What a legend was a pandemic project that got too popular.
It makes sense that they were all in in this game back in 2020-2021 and now that life is back to normal the game is the backburner.

Have they discussed going back to the old days of shorter smaller updates? These grand all in one updates might have been okay before they had 10 kids but it seems to be way too slow now.

I would understand the criticism of the delay if you are one of the higher donators to the game creators, but whining here when you can play it for free is a total rubbish. There are plenty of other great games available, so just mind your own business and wait until the update is ready.
