Holy shit, they get 7k a month and it's a couple and they had THIS many delays? Nah, the maternity leave feels like an excuse. 7k a month, even with exorbitant tax feels like it's a bit of exploitation to take a paid leave. If this was like 2 random people working together, cool, you have to split the money and probably work 2nd jobs or something... But a couple? Nah, not buying it. I might sound like a dick but this is some next level convenience
While it sounds mean you might not be entirely wrong, people never think about circumstances, for example in a normal job, maternity leave is necessary cause as the mom you gotta spend time with you mini you (baby), so you can't be at work and away from home, but in this circumstance, her job is at home, meaning she can still work on the game while literally having little one next to her, so no excuse ! Right? Well... the thing is, taking care of a newborn is exhausting, granted she's not a single mom so they can share the load, both do baby stuff a bit, both work a bit. But honestly I don't have a kid "snif" But judging from seeing other parents have one, I can imagine that the early few months are really hard. Newborns required the most attention out of any point of a baby's life, so, yeah while it's annoying everything got mega delayed, try to understand that some people would rather choose a family over other things (Then again patreon supplies them with gold even if there is no work xD)
