I get the rules, it's just misleading in this case. The devs have very regular patreon updates, but I guess it's the rules of this site.

Not only in this case unfortunately, don't know for how long things are like this but I'm sure there must had been a lot of complaining regarding the mislead caused by the word meaning since the beginning anyway.

Maybe it's just hard to come up with a different word for those scenarios or it's just intentional (for reasons). At this point I just try to explain people how the tag works and don't bother with why the tag works like this anymore, you should do the same.

There very much IS a rule about regular patreon updates.

Game is marked abandoned after 6 months of no communication from creator, or after 18 months of no releases. So if the devs didn't update their Patreon, [Abandoned] tag would have landed a year earlier.

There very much IS a rule about regular patreon updates.

Game is marked abandoned after 6 months of no communication from creator, or after 18 months of no releases. So if the devs didn't update their Patreon, [Abandoned] tag would have landed a year earlier.

Yeah, no matter what's happening on Patreon, after 18 months of no update, there's a good chance that the progress reports on the game site and Patreon are possibly more misleading than the abandoned tag on this site.

These cool little bars can keep on sliding to infinity, at some point you gotta suspect that something isn't right.



But if the progress reported over the last 3+ months is anything to go on, the polishing should be done around early October.



And then it's just 2 or 3 months of play testing, followed by a few months of rework, and then maybe the birth of another child, hell, let's go with twins this time... So really, the release is just right around the corner.

I'm gonna start holding my breath... now!

bruh like over 50 people by now have answered this question already.

After 18 months of INACTIVITY, as in no updates whatsoever, F95 automatically marks them Abandoned, regardless of what the devs say on Kekreon or on Discord.

They have not updated the game in almost 2 years... so no they don't regularly update on patreon, they still haven't released the Orc girl update they've been working on for almost two years. If this update doesn't cure cancer at this point they're cooked.
