What makes you angry about the adult gaming community in general?

Some games have very visible issue, they don't angry me at all, I don't give them that chance.

What bothers me most is when a game lose the story line. It starts with a interesting propose, seems to be going in a very nice direction, you start to raise some expectations about the outcomes, and then there is brutal turn, or the seems that the story hits a wall and the creator got lost. He start to walk to the sides and visible don't know there to go.

You spend time playing 3, 4 or more versions, when happens, you feels like you wasted a lot of time, and time is a valuable resource. I believe that creators don't need to have the whole story written before putting out some content, but he need to delimit the key events before everything else. They can add tons of content between one key event and the next, but the wayroad is set. I don't know if makes sense, but any game can grow horizontally, but the vertically should delimited.

The main thing that gets to me is lousy plots, followed closely by indifferent scripting. I am aware that the average porn movie shows little concern for either plausibility or logical development, but the games and VNs on this site are supposedly developed -- by developers. If you have a fairly good idea of what your story is you can flesh it out (Oh! was that a pun?) with brilliant, competent, or just adequate graphics and the package still works. If you only have a vague idea of where you're going, but think that throwing in some attractive models with BIG TITS and uncontrollable horniness should be good enough for the mentally subnormal wankers of your target audience, you will end up mired in a plot that's going nowhere. At this point, with patrons deserting en masse, it's a bit late to start correcting fundamental deficiencies.

I know that it's unreasonable to expect War and Peace, but take some hints from games generally acknowledged to be good.

Angry is a bit big word for it but... When it feels a game that showed promise or that you've followed for year+ has turned into nothing more than money-making scheme. Long waits for minimal content. Update dates mysteriously coincide with Patreon paydays. The developer keeps giving statements that end up being false. That kind of stuff.

As a professional programmer I do get it. I've had my days when I expected to spend 1 hour tops with some specific issue in my code, only to realize at the end of the day that 1 hour tops issue took the entire day and it might not even be fixed yet. This will get orders of magnitude worse if you've had to learn as you go and your codebase ends up being hot garbage. Same with writing and art I'm guessing - you want to put out great stuff, but you simply lack inspiration. I know I've spent hours trying to write a story that I have a clear outline for in my head, but am unable to get past the first paragraph since I keep starting over, unhappy with how it goes.

My other pet peeve is the sheer volume of incest games out there. This isn't limited to adult gaming - I do get that incest is by far the easiest fetish to cater to in porn, since it requires minimal effort and turns off minimal number of people, which makes it extremely prevalent. In adult games this translates to poorly written MC+mother+sister with non-existent father scenarios with some excuse why they end up being OK with the MC fucking both of them.

Now this shitty premise can lead to an actually good game, don't me wrong. I don't have anything against the fetish itself either - it's easy enough to ignore. It's just that most of the time it's badly written and feels like a detriment to the game, like a mandatory bit the dev isn't particularly interested in, but adds because they "need" it for the Patreon support. And because it's popular, they keep adding more and more half-assed content to it, to the detriment of the rest of the game.

They can mean a primary theme of the game, a reoccurring theme or a plotline, one full scene that can be described by said tag, a small part of one scene that might not even warrant a tag. Well i agree to a certain degree but if you absolutly hate a certain fetish, lets just take the most polarising one NTR as example here, and the game has the NTR tag you don't just go and download that game, play it and then complain afterwards about the NTR. Same goes for seeing the tag and then go into the thread and write something stupid like: "oh well it has NTR in it so no download" or "i hate NTR".

1 - Far too many games involve grinding to the point of becoming extremely boring. This wrecks the game and ensures that I will stop playing it.

2 - Many games start out seeming like they will be good but then get wrecked by censorship from Patreon. There are other sites out there, such as Subscribe Star, that they could use or maybe even make something new if need be. If Patreon won't allow the game to be made in the way intended by the developer then fuck Patreon. They should just take their business elsewhere if Patreon doesn't want it.

3 - Games that are so poorly designed that despite spending a long time on them I can't figure out how to get out of the first room that my character starts in. This has happened several times in different games. Sometimes I search the threads on here for help and if I can't find it ask questions. Other times I just delete the game and move on to the next one.

Overall: Lazynes and really low standarts in terms of quality in maybe 80% of whole community that draging that whole industry down. Because if standarts is low, results is low too.

Yeah,and that is not just about writting but in every aspect of game. (Visuals, writting, sounds, gameplay, animations)

Definitely the people that don't/can't be bothered read like 1 paragraph that is the description for things like installation (Example: changing to Japanese local) and the people that can't be bothered to read back a few pages. I do realize that pretty much every community has this but it is just one of those things that baffles me on how they even made it to what they were looking for with that lack of awareness and searching.

Also the excuse that "It doesn't take long to just tell me instead of getting annoyed at me" is one of the worst reasonings ever considering I could just become more annoyed with how they couldn't take 20 seconds to read/whatever caused the annoyance in the first place. Pretty much most of my problems could be made up to apply to anything I guess but still doesn't make it any better considering they would be adults in this instance

It's simple...

The AVN world is split into only two parts.

1. They like a VN with a story and characters that draws them in and the game becomes second life to them. You know you think about the characters and what is going to happen after you played latest update long after you finished it.
2. You want incest/milf/hare/ntr/non-ntr/pissing/anal/(all kinds of weird ass kinks) and not think about anything but "Chocking your CHICKEN " or "Deflowering your flower" as hard and fast as you can.

If you don't find what you after in a game then some ppl bitch about it instead of just leaving and playing something that does cater for your needs. That part irritates me and biggest gripe is the "Constructive criticism" thing some hide behind. NO you just downright being an ass when giving your opinions. I've seen uplifting criticism and I've seen destructive moaning.

Phew.. getting that out felt as good as when you keep in a piss miles away from home and then release.

To your point 2. I know that feeling, smack a character into an HDRI and people go nuts while they don't care if you take the time to do a proper lighting, i've seen that in my renders.
