What Porn/ Hentai Stereotypes, Cliche, and Tropes that are your biggest Turn Offs?

Anyway, as the thread title asks, what do you fine individuals find to be your biggest turn-off whenever/ wherever it turns up in porn/ hentai? You know, you're interested in this particular piece because the art is appealing, you start watching/ reading/ playing it and things start getting good, but suddenly [insert trope here] shows up and the feeling is gone. What trope causes this kind of reaction in you (and an explanation would be nice)? But please be respectful about it, as what may turn you off, may turn others on and vice versa.

For me, I find the cliche of a female character(s) who early on is established to be powerful in her universe (be it physically, magically, mentally, etc) but then immediately becomes powerless as soon as her introduction is finished to be really irritating. This cliche is typically set up where the first two-ish pages are dedicated to showing how accomplished the heroine(s) is, with the very next page showing that same powerful character(s) imprisoned, surrounded by (typically) a male character(s) who under normal circumstances the heroine would be able to defeat with ease. A macguffin is briefly mentioned to "explain" how the heroine got captured, quickly followed by her violation, corruption, and/or humiliation.

Now I understand that this cliche appeals to the degradation, maledom and corruption community (I don't judge, we all have our tastes) but it just shows up so often in hentai that it just gets annoying. The macguffins are so downright illogical given that the heroine had been established earlier to be powerful, so it does not make much sense (even for hentai logic) as to how she got detained. And finally, it just simply contrasts/conflicts with my preference of softcore femdom.

See, you'll find I'm actually a huge fan of corruption. That's why I've played so many of these games in the first place. I really like the increase of depravity in a woman. However, the problem I have with the vast majority of these games including Katie's Corruption, is a lack of agency. For instance, in KC since my first few actions weren't depraved enough I was locked into the pure route, had to slog through more and more harassment, but couldn't seem to do anything about it till the narrative wanted me to, nor could I ever choose to do something different. And here's the thing, KC is one of the better handled versions of these games. Like, you still do increasingly dumb shit, but unlike the majority you're able to align yourself with Katie's goal of getting out of the situation.

However, being locked into the route isn't the only way you lose agency. I've written a couple times how the game, California Bound, seems to have managed to use all the same structure as other Retarrd in Lechertown games, with the world being populated by people looking to use the MC for sex. That said, it does a few things that most RiL games don't. The first is it's setup. Your MC has run away from her family and support systems in order to pursue her goal of becoming an actress. This shows a determination to do what it takes to follow her goals. Then it uses that situation, she's alone, broke, destitute in a new city with no support system, to make her choose between going along with sexual coercion or give up on her goals. Since every decision is weighted against her goals, she has a motivation to do things she wouldn't do. As a result unlike all the other characters, her sense of agency is restored, she's no longer working against the player, she's working toward her goals. What's special about this is that she doesn't all of the sudden become cold about it either. She still feels genuine in her distaste for it, but she also seems to be awakening a darker side of her sexuality, again giving her motivation to go along with it.

Most of these games aren't bad because they drop the character in lechertown. They are bad because the character dropped into lechertown is retarded. She doesn't have any common sense or agency. She is driven and intelligent, and has support systems in place, but still ends up in bullshit and poorly written blackmail scenarios. Elena's life, for instance, the blackmail is that your fiance's delinquent son caught the principle molesting you and is too angsty to understand that that is what's going on. Elena thinks that this delinquent's angst and sexual frustration are gonna convince his dad that all of the sudden, men aren't fucking perverts, really? It would be so easy to just tell him herself, but she's a fucking retard. Anna's Exciting Affection shows us a girl living with her sister who has friends in the city but who still goes along with a blackmail plot that involves your brand new boss, somehow finding out on your first day at work that your friend who told you about the position has been skimming from the company, and he is jumping to the conclusion that by association you're implicated in this as well. Lets take a second to let that sink in. Now, you could choose not to call the cops in protection of your friend, but if I were a cop I'd find it incredibly suspicious that the embezzling was discovered that day and used to blackmail a new employee who you'd already forced to wear a slutty uniform. Add to all this that neither Elena or Anna have the agency to just say, fuck it, I'm stuck in this situation, I might as well make it easier on myself and just go along with it, and you've got these characters constantly working against the player's goal of getting laid and moreover, making the player quite honestly, also enemies to ourself, because we hate the fucking dick who's blackmailing her anyway.

I know I can't expect much from a game in which mom is horny cuz she saw her son naked, son is horny because his mom/sister has tits etc. It just kills any connection with character with how unrealistic and stupid it is. It just annoys me and makes me feel that every girl is a slut even if they're pictured as innocent initially

I'm not really sure "realism" is a major consideration in a gaming genre where the MC can sleep with a double-digit number of extremely attractive women in a matter of days or weeks, often without them realizing he's not the only one they're dating, and/or with him casually maneuvering them into group sex, BDSM, unusual fetishes, etc. If you want "realism" in a fap game, the MC is going to meet maybe 1 or 2 very attractive potential partners, 3 or 4 moderately attractive ones, and have the chance by game end to sleep with maybe half of them, in some cases after great effort. The mother in that game has a psychological complex about her son. Is that rare? Fuck yes. Is it plausible. Sure. The little sister is a geek with no boys in her life and you, her brother are in her life, treat her well, share her interests, and spend time with her, it's natural to develop a crush under these circumstances... is everyone gonna act on that? No, but is it plausible as a setup? Yes. The older sister's is probably the least plausible, however it was also set up. The older sister sits around the house in lingerie, she obviously doesn't see a problem with it in general. So when she has him take photos of her in stuff, of course she's gonna try to course correct, and she even tries to get a friend to do it for her, before eventually giving into temptation.

Fair enough. The rather obvious retort is to ask "how many people worry about the plausibility of their sexual fantasies?" I would allow that a more plausible setup can boost the immersion of the player, by making it easier for them to "buy in" to the scenario. Another consideration is for the internal logic of a game to remain consistent. It's jarring when "sloppy" scripting leads to characters commenting to you about something they "did" last night, when in fact the character decided not to do it.

I might not be a fan of incest in general but I will always much more appreciate Dual Family than Dreams of Desire just for this sole reason (just an example). In other games it's also a popular thing as it's like a magical porn key to avoid any foreplay or relationships development.

1. Son/brother returns to household of mom/sisters after very long time away(long separation, being raised separately more likely to trigger genetic sexual attraction)
2. Women of family have plausible psychological triggers or personality types making them more vulnerable to seduction by family member(mother attraction to younger men or even a Jocasta complex, youngest sister isolated looks up to brother, other sisters going through some difficult stuff, etc.)
3. Crisis situations and shared experiences heighten intimacy, vulnerability, dependency
4. Son/brother takes on outsize role in household, inverting existing power/family hierarchy(breadwinner, disciplinarian?, problem-solver). "Spanking the Monkey" actually creates a highly plausible incest scenario.
5. Innocuous, commonplace "oopsie" sexual events mix with other factors to gradually nudge the characters towards greater physical intimacy and relax inhibition(accidental nudity, accidental groping, drunken kissing, straying into sex talk, asking for "advice" or guidance, massages get a little out of hand, etc.).
