Where are the good games?

If you are using DAZ models with morphs you are limiting yourself to DAZ style for the most part, I have not seen your renders but I bet most people would assume it looks like DAZ with filters or similar.

For me, it is quite acceptable quality for a small amount of time.
The girl is based on some porn actress. Yes, her nose is not perfect, especially in profile, but it was designed that way.

This is actually quite a risky business especially at AAA level, and especially now in the woke-era where a simple panty-flash gets all the game-journos rolling their eyes and writing articles that x-game is sexist, etc. The reputation of an AAA company might take a hit if they go all the way. Heck, even "Mature" / "Restricted" rated games gets flacked for too much violence/sexiness/weirdness.

This is exactly what i'm getting at. It boggles my mind how there are still snowflakes that apparently have a problem with adult stuff... in an adult game. Like, if you don't like these things, simply go play something else, the gaming market is huge, certainly there is something out there for everyone. But nope, let's go on a crusade and ruin the fun for everyone just because i have a problem with certain things... Which is why we are in 2023, yet it feels like we are evolving backwards :T

back in the day yeah, but i mean now, last 2-3 years we were starting to keep quality games and last months i feels like this is going backwards and now with AI art we start getting even worse games and it kinda dilute the pool of games alot and prob is not as profitable for people that try do quality stuffs anymore or if they were thinking to start they are thinking twice now.
Everyone with 0 skills can ask GTP for a script then they go into stable difusion and ask AI for art, watch a tutorial how to add that into Renpy and Voila we have a new "game".

I still see a lot of interesting games on this website lately. I do have a problem with most games being unfinished or abandoned by the devs though, which is to be expected from hentai games in general but still disappointing nonetheless that this is still a thing. But yeah, can't expect much from games being made by people mostly on their free time, and with little pay no less...

bout "Woke-era", ull see slowly F95 adding more woke restrictions too since they already pick and chose what kinks are alright and what kinks are over the board and banned so wont be surprised myself when more restrictions will be added, i just hope im wrong, so this is not something that only AAA studies do, they only do it quicker.

I dunno, although i've arrived here very recently, i've already seen all sorts of stuff, including the more hardcore stuff... Prepubescent stuff seems to be the only thing that's a no-no so far - the same for LoversLab - although it seems some games featuring lolis still get a pass here somehow.

I would hate it for this site to go woke, i reeeeeeeeeeally hope it doesn't, but considering this is the biggest hentai piracy site on the web, the possibilites sadly do exist... If that ever happens, i'll just go back to Fap For Fun, but that site isn't nearly as good as this one though (and last game i downloaded from there gave me a bunch of viruses >.>)

I think I see your problem.
Games with high quality renders take more time to make because high quality renders take time to make.

This "just a few years ago" that you're referring to as some sort of golden age is probably pretty close to when you were first introduced to the world of adult games. Your first experience was perusing through projects that were already years into their development and that's skewed your perception of new games that haven't had nearly the same time to get going.

I guess it's because many projects even without reaching 1.0 version have been releasing updates since years ago and thus they had to keep with old models... In any case, I am planning on releasing my own project fully playable before the end of this month. I can assure you it will be something different both in graphics and playability, so I hope eventually you give it a try.

And yes, one of the main reasons to do my own project was because I felt similary to you at some point.

Not only time but money too if you're using DAZ. Look at the price of graphic cards nowadays, they are crazy. 1200$ for a 4080, 1900€ for a 4090...if you are a beginner dev, it's a tough pill to swallow.

And people expect animations, that DAZ is not good at, so it takes even more time.

The alternatives, like Honey Select (that I use), are not nearly as realistic and limit your player base. I mean, I love the look of it, and the baked-in animations, but I am in the minority, obviously.

Not really. Everyone have their own taste, and not everything needs to be 'realistic.'
In fact, some people prefer the 'unrealistic' anime-ish characters even more.

The problem is that we are spoiled.
You see with games as superpowered, lab rats 1 & 2, stationmaster, eratohok, hentai school, etc.

We played accaul games with gameplay, story and fun.
The cheap cash grabs(remember we are pirates, we steal stuff people are selling) are easy to make and sell.

High quality games are rare in normal gaming.
And porn games arent exactly a sellers market.
With the whole:
I dont want my family to know mentalty.
Chances are that you dont buy a porn game on steam for this exact reason.

The good games to put it blundly.
We already played.
And now we desperately are searching for something that is decent.
Not even good just not trash.

But as the saying goes:
90% of everything is trash.

As I said, I was also one of those asking 'where's my dream game?'. So I just decided to do something about it. Of course, I don't have the skills to do such dream game, but in exchange, I got myself a pretty interesting hobby. These days there are many accesible tools to make games, so if somebody would like tro try so, I would say to them to not be afraid and give it a try. Perhaps that somebody someday will set the gold-standard for their own thing. Or at least, they will see from first hand the ammount of work behind these works, and their definition of 'good' will get sharper

Of course, I don't have the skills to do such dream game, but in exchange, I got myself a pretty interesting hobby. I kinda like it! The character model and the pose are great, but the colors and contrast seem a bit too light. I'm not sure, but it seems interesting to me. I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Prefer honey select. The models look young, hot, and cute. In DAZ they all look kinda milfy.
