I guess they will release a guideline for how to deal with bees and birds, including storks next  I mean, Star Wars has more incest content than WiaB by those terms.

... certainly hope this Patreon setback doesn't deter the Dev from continuing WiAB. Imagine pouring your heart and soul into a project, only to have it disappear in the blink of an eye. While the dev have their local files, this setback undoubtedly stings :cautious:

Nothing's disappeared - Ocean's got it on SS, and has got the page on steam. He's had to bring forward the release of season 1 to compensate for the loss of patreon, so it'll be early access on steam. Patreon's merely a middle man that processes payment, so it's just an avenue to advertise and publish that's been lost. With WiaB being paradoxically easier to release on steam than SG (because Ocean has to do it 18+ so there's no need to try to limbo under the line), I'm thinking it'll be a big relief once he's able to get the early access version up.

Got a newbie question: Which platform do AVN followers/creators tend to prefer more, Patreon or Subscriberstar?

We are faced with a paradoxical situation. On the one hand wiab has something like a deathline. On the other hand, there were more than 500 patreons, that money is felt and a lot as the months go by.

Subscriberstar is better at the no frills incest part, and a few other things.
Negative points are: payment methods

take months to accept a creator

i just played this game because it came highly recommended. i thought it was great, and definitely agree that its a top tier game, no problem there. but now that im looking into update cycles so i know what to expect and im regretting giving it a go.

im well aware that dev times are increasing across the board in this genre, but 3 chapters in 6 years seems to be a little extreme, which has me wondering if there an explination im unaware of?
im really hoping there was some sort of delay in development that might explain why theres been so little progress in the game since its launch, or is 1 chapter every 2 years the pace for this dev?

could someone please give me some insight into this so i can decide if i want to invest any more intrest in the story, or support this dev?
thank you in advance.
