If we get a render count we can at least extrapolate, but I suspect there will be delays due to the steam process, regardless of how fast Ocean wants it done.

Yeah most probably, although WiaB should go a lot more smoother in the Steam, Ocean has more experience with its process and there is no way around it, Where it all Began is a 18+ game. I expect way less drama on that front. But the renders count will be give a good estimation of how far development has gone, regardless I think it will come way before SG S2.

Well, Ocean was always transparent auf the fact that SG has waaaaaaay more support than WIAB.

In old devlogs Ocean has even the weekly time mentioned which Pc was working for which game. SG was/is the main income for him, especially after the shutdown of the WIAB patreon and SS is way less popular out there than patreon.
Usually the newer PC was founded over the SG revenue, so it would be unfair to this patrons when he would use the PC - founded by SG - for the way less popular game WIAB.
