I'm slowly starting to get the same impression. It's starting to remind me of the current situation with WVM. Just empty words

Each time a devlog kind of makes room for a nearly finished update the next devlog feels like there hasn't been any progress at all. No new numbers, just renders for the 5000th time. At some point a dev must be willing to finish an update and actually release it but nowadays it seems to be more productive to not do that...

Ocean could have made this a three part game.

Summer's Gone: An introduction to the story through Nika's eyes. Eventually we reach a climax.
Where it All Began: The story that happened before Summer's Gone. History of Hollost through William's eyes.
Part Three: A story after Summer's Gone. Either a new MC or Nika & William together.

He should have first completed Summer's Gone and end it with a small cliffhanger and story to move forward to.
Then make Where it All Began, showing how we reached at Summer's Gone and the story of Hollost before Nika.
Then a game to tie this all up, Ocean's grant finale where every charector he deem worthy show up. And epic climax to a saga, a unforgettable trilogy which makes Ocean the GOAT AVN creator.
This way he could have the same supports and also new supporters for each game. He would be able to release more often.
Alas it is a "what could have been".

I like Ocean as a dev but this feel like milking to me. The only thing left to do is complete the intro cinematic and testing and maybe one more lewd scene. He could easily given a tentative realse date like next Friday 5/2 or something. He been doing post work for 2 months now on WIAB. Even DPC beta testing phase does not last more than a few weeks.

Steam usually take a couple weeks to approve a new game for publishing. We can't be sure how long WiaB will take since when SG was submitted, Ocean was chopping and changing it to lower the rating.

Is there a release coming soon? I will need a summary of what happened so far, it was too long since i played it. I remember there were biker gangs, and drug dealers, and a dude wanting to bang his mom, and ninjas...

I think this game could use some pirate. Everything is better with pirates.

6 months
or 15 days
It may even take only 7 days... but it is impossible to know, each AVN had different times, and as long as they do not find in the delivered build some serious error or something to change.

Mh, played through it. The story is decent, but dragged.

As far as the tags go - well. No show so far other than the standard scenes with one girl.
Updates seem to be dragging to put it mildy.

All in all, had potential but given the history of the other game, I shelve this for the time being.
Hope there might come an update, but not holding my breath.

1. Abandoned: used in the following cases:
   • The developer states that the development has been permanently suspended.
   • After 3 months of inactivity from the developer's public creator/crowdfunding accounts (Patreon, SS, etc), we will resolve special circumstances or scenarios on a case-by-case basis (no creator accounts, creators developing for free, Patreon accounts under review/ban).
   • No game update has been released for an abnormally long period of time (>18 months).
   • Game threads that are marked On-hold for over 6 months with no game update.

Jesus fucking christ. It's not automatic. Someone has to put a ticket in requesting the abandoned tag. A mod or admin then has to agree to do it.

Yeah, people just don't understand, nothing is automatic on this site, I mean there are bots (like the OP poster is a bot). Same reason tags are missing on some games, I don't mean abandoned tag, the game tags.

That is why the report system is there.
