This is how I feel about Summer Gone I don't care for the reworking of the old chapters. I didn't see a problem with the old one. I am just wanting for new but at the same time, I slowly stopped caring about it and just waited for whenever comes out.

I like the game but honestly, I care more about the romance than I do the main story in general really. I know it's unpopular, but I played other games that might not have great art as this but at least the story keeps me interested. I skipped the library, meeting the mom boyfriend, and daughters a bit.

Maybe the game just isn't for me tbh.

I think the issue is the dev just isn't that creative from a writing perspective and has run out of ideas. Reworking old content is straight out of the "no more ideas" dev handbook. Ocean is clearly talented, but I do wonder if he would be better off creating visuals for another dev who can write.

I'm expecting a rewrite of a rewrite in both VNs in 2024...

Good game, better imo than the original version, however the only gripe I have is that it takes so long to bring out the content. Just as the other game Summers Gone, the dev takes a long time...now you can say I am complaining blablabla but I feel I am entitled to my opinion which is that these games take an awfully long time to bring out content and its not a good amount of content either when updates happen...guess thats just business though and how these devs make money. Game is good enough to wait for more though so

Holy shit! I broke my ctrl key skipping through the bad dialogue. Sometimes Dev's shouldn't re-write their stories. This game has gone from an okay story to something that will give you brain damage. Very sad.

I liked this update and honestly didn't find anything wrong with the dialogue. I renew my wish for the dev to put this game on top of his priority line over SG, but I guess things will not change. Looking forward to the next update.

Not sure what's up with all the complaints about the writing. Seems fine to me. The only thing I find odd is all the talk about a "gang" in what looks to be a fairly well off neighborhood. Just seems out of place for the setting. "Mafia" would actually sound better and make more sense in this setting.
