You mean the leaf animation inbetween scenes? That's just a single leaf image overimposed, the animation is done by Ren'py on your client. In SG back in Ch4 it kinda pissed me off cause it fired every minute, but I don't mind it inbetween scenes in WiAB.

Ahh, so the transitions are odd and long? Wrongfully assumed those were videos. Makes sense that he went that route. And now that I think about it, clicking does move ahead.

I personally like him. He's unique and fits into the story. He got the right phisique du role for a porn game protagonist.

I think the idea of taking after his dad, the back story of being a sporty guy in high school, and being a physical trainer all support the "swoll" look. I am not unhappy that he is a big dude. But there is big and there is BIG.

While on the subject of the MC, I certainly prefer the previous back story compared to the current story of him being a huge douche growing up.

Out of all the people William abandoned, nobody is as pissed off as Leia. She still hasn't forgiven him for that, I guess this will start being addressed in the next chapter since Leia and Will start in the same car. She might be glad he's back, but she's still royally pissed off.

I think there are reasons for this change, not the least what happened back then when Willi fled. The Twins were bullies with few real friends and not easily intimidated, see how they helped Gloria. To impact such persons so deep that Willi fled by night and fog, Kati must have made an epic asshole move of her own, otherwise the MC would not have done something so drastic as fleeing the city. Neither Willi nor Leia have ever forgiven Kati for this, so it cannot be a simple snitching.

Thinking more about Leia, the relationship between the two, and what I don't enjoy about it, it became clear that I was comparing new vs old. Carrying thoughts of the old story into the current story. That is dangerous because in many ways this new story is really a NEW story. Many aspects of the old story I really enjoyed. The relationship between the siblings was a major part of that enjoyment. But it would be faulty to assume that any part of that story can be carried forward.

In general, my comments still stand: compared to the previous version, there are many things I enjoyed more and will miss. And still, the current story is very enjoyable and I am excited to see how it progresses going forward.

It’s important to remember that while there are changes...this isn’t a NEW game. It has the same title, the same basic premise, same characters etc...there are differences, but it’s a remake of something that already existed. Comparisons are really inescapable.

At least he is making up for it now. Redemption is a popular theme (although not one I typically enjoy). I think Ocean can pull it off with this story.

I enjoy going after the LIs that take work. The broken girls who need the healing power of the MC. Leia fits that bill, and Katie does as well.

It may appear that way yeah. I don't know tho cause he didn't seem that remorseful when he spoke to the woman he fucked over in the past. Generally he seems kinda cold and quite so maybe that's why it didn't feel like he was all that remorseful when talking to her but you're right, I'm sure Ocean can pull it off. Hopefully, cause the last thing we need is a roided asshole MC lol.

Same honestly. The ones who throws themselves at the MC don't peak my interest that much. I like the challenge and the story build up to it.. Makes the game and characters feel interesting and worthwhile.

I think he is going for the DPC's rule of not showing in special renders much more than you have already seen in game at that point in time, if I am reading it right.

I understand what you mean, but no. Nit unless it was a multiple protagonist kind of game, and that would rule out a lot of potential mystery about who sired who in the future. I could see somebody trying it to skirt certain Patreon rules, arguing that the player choices don't reflect reality (so you may or may not be banging sisters or cousins/aunts), but I just don't think it works.

Keeping them separate permits a great deal of leeway, as so much is a potential mystery with them being suitably disconnected.

If you mean the dude in the gym, no. He's actually a tribute to a real world person. I can't recall if he died or had some other major medical issue.

WIAB's going along at its bibi pace. I probably had a record day last week with 82 renders for WiAB in one day.
It took 120h to render out. (5 days).
The A6000's speed is definitely a strong limiting factor at the moment.

I came really close to the 48GB with a WiAB scene. But to be fair, I did go into that scene guns blazing with no regard for VRAM casualties.
Still, without the A6000 I couldn't even produce the current scenes. (But I need more of them to increase speed.)
So, regarding the Super big boi Workstation.

I won't get it.
Not because of my finances or anything support related... We didn't even get to that point.
But because of German bureaucracy and the fact that I moved across the country and still wasn't able to declare my new place at the gov.
(I got an appointment 7 months from when I moved to my current place. So they couldn't even ask the bank without me having the proper address on my ID.)
I will contact them again in August & hope I will then get the green light.

I will also put WiAB on Steam with the release after Chapter 3.
