And therein lies the contradiction.... WIAB is totally consistent, an update every 12 months or more. In other words, we know when it will be released and we imagine when the next one will be released. So it's not about consistency. And Ocean knows it, it has to shorten the times yes or yes, more for Steam and get out of EA, 6 months per cycle is the goal.
and to add to that one update for each game a year is enough considering its a one man team its just too much to handle but the problem it feels like we are just scratching the surface in both SG and WIAB while a lot of other yearly projects feel like can be wrapped up in an update or two (even if they wont)
That is true, WiaB is more consistent with its release, but in general their update is also a lot smaller. One year for less than 2k renders, where SG is ofeten closer to 3k, I understand that SG is the favorite child. Are mutiple things that add up to something bleak at times. With out reworks and the mew Workstation I think that we can expect smoother sailing.

There is a sheer FUCK-tonne of work left after all the animations are done. But Ocean's done the renpy rodeo more than once, so he'll have been doing a fair bit of it as he went I'm guessing. I'm still hopeful of something soonish. I mean, if he said all the renders are done for the animations as well? We'd know it's really close. He'll still need to get testers to play it make sure there's no continuity errors with any branches he might have put, ie making sure there's no NTR on the vanilla playthrough etc. But I'm hopeful

Leia hate: well, she kinda hate's Willi the whole way through the game so far. Sure there's the tension, but I'd just hang out with Dylan and Katie and tell her to fuck off with her games. Her reaction to his imprisonment? 'Don't come NEAR my club!!! Argggghhh!!!' I mean, she pushes him away when he's trying to be good. She's worn me out with her tantrums. Katie actually listens to Willi, takes stuff on board, and isn't blinded by her 'love'. And her infatuation with Willi isn't love. She had an obsession, she kept it alive.
She can't forgive Willi for not being who she remembers.
What should Willi do? Become a fetish doll of himself for her to play with?
Other reasons - holding a grudge against Mon this whole time and wanting Willi to seduce her? Messed up. Being a drug dealer who uses muscle thugs to protect her pimp club? Messed up. She might not be the worst person in the game later on, but right now she is. She's the only criminal we actually know of. We're told about Krayt and the cult, but we know as much as WIlli about them or Asavera, and it's almost entirely because of Leia. Who is (currently) actually worse than her?
But as a source of drama, she's GREAT.

- Kat's teacher problems I'm guessing will be tied to Donna. Which makes that who thing very mysterious. I kinda thought maybe Helen and Kat on the porch could be Kat telling Helen all about it, because she know Helen can keep the secret. But them I wonder if the intruder makes their presence known before or after that. At least we know Kat's got an eventful night in store.
- I kinda see Katie's plots as being fairly introspective, they'll revolve maily around what happened to caus Willi to leave, and she'll offer him a way to reintegrate to Wollust, seeing she's the social one, not Leia.
- Well her trip away and seeing her naked in their old apartment suggest there's going to be something going on. Maybe this time while she's back home, her ninja family find her? Or the bad guys, whoever they are trap her alone. Hopefully her gaming session won't be a tabletop experience...
- Yes, like layers of an onion. Ocean will draw it out I'm sure, something left for chapter 5 at least. Ch5 will probably hav a cliffhanger with relevations, or whatever chapter Ocean ends the 1st season on.
- Yes, Mon deserves something nice. I hope the nice thing isn't only Willi seducing her, but there is a chance to treat her honourably if we chose. I hate that most games act like bang LI=good, reject LI=hate. I'd hope for a more mature approach to her path.
I'll start from the Nami thing. I didn't like Nami until the rework, because she was so obsessed. Now, she seems more balanced. We're also seeing her from Nika's perspective, just like we see Leia from Willi's. IN SG Nami purshes Nika to be better, more social, and even accept his interest in other LI's. You don't have to respond to her as a LI, and she'll accept it. It's only if you're playing around while going for her that she gets jealous. Here, Willi and Leia's story is baked in, we don't know really anything yet. But three chapters worth of Leia's snark, with no redeeming feature is my opinion. Too hard basket, pass on that one.
If still his sister...then she isn't a LI anymore...
