in the OP, I liked it, although the new generations don't like it at all.
The shift is *really* extreme. The original was much more low-key, which I actually liked. There's obviously a lot more story since they had already been working on it for a while. But you do notice that towards the end of the original, they were starting to shift towards this newer style.
I don't dislike the new amped up style of the remake. It's not bad by any means but it's a pretty hard shift.
That being said, the new Miru is even more adorably unhinged than the original. She's an absolute lunatic and I would trust her with my heart but not my bank account.

I started playing again to remember the plot before the release of Chapter 3. There was talk in the SG thread that Oceanverse is a fictional universe based on the US and Europe. But they forgot to add Australia to the list.
