In WiaB, the MC is more tolerable, but still an asshole. In SG... he might as well cut his useless dick off and go cry in a corner like the bitch he is.

As my MCs pretty much always start off as jerks and I like the trope of the "Anti-Hero".

I personally dislike Gary Stu or in general nice guy MCs. That's why my games can be seen as an in-between.

While i don't like protagonist in SG too much, i can relate to him with how bad his depression seems to be. Depression can be very effective libido killer for people. Not to mention how some depression meds can really mess you up. In WiaB protagonist needs to grow up a bit and listen to Miru when she tells him to let things go and be the bigger person.

Hello,

So, now that CH3 full is out, Chapter 3x5 & Chapter 4 are now in focus.

Over the next two weeks, I'll be moving WiAB to the current SG Workstation. The current WIAB PC will then solely be used for rendering.

I'm making the move now and not after the planned purchase of the new Workstation because I ordered a little upgrade for the current PCs.

I'll give you more details about the upgrade when the hardware arrives.

It's still the plan to get a big boy workstation after the SG Steam release, on which both SG and WiAB will be developed on. All the other PCs are then being used as slave nodes. (Render PCs).

I've started reaching out to some more music artists, and I hope to secure a few new songs before the next update.

As mentioned in a previous Dev Log, I'll limit previews to a max of three images per log now.







With the next log, I'll add a precise render count for both Chapter 3x5 & Chapter 4.

Chapter 3.5 is somewhere between 700 and 850 renders atm.

Both the games have some really beautiful LI's gifted with good assets.
SG is quite far ahead when it comes to plot and character arcs progression while WIAB with CH3 has started to pace up too.
I don't expect anything sexual happening between MC and other LI's at least for this year when it comes to WIAB as there s still a lot of progress that needs to happen for them to reach that stage but with SG it is gonna be some fun stuff coming ahead this year.

Could easily be some sexy action in WiaB with Gina or Zoey - Zoey's already interested in an open relationship, and Gina's mentioned some sharing - not topics you bring up randomly. Also, the camping trip is a great opportunity for Katie to accidentally drug everyone into a mass orgy they wake up to regret, like in the original. The question is what scenes get developed first. An early camping trip could set up some great tensions when everyone realises who did what with who - and then everyone's guilt trips over cheating etc. Really depends how Ocean wants to pace things, and the camping trip could just open pandora's box.
