Nah I actually can’t stand Ocean tbh. The constant (sometimes unnecessary) changes is not a great business model. This guy needs a manager or something to stop him from going too far and to keep to the plan. Needs a bit of grounding.

I won't go making strong statements like that myself, but the more time passes, the more it seems that he has no clue what the fuck he's doing. He has dropped the total number of chapters for each game before, which made me think the story was planned out earlier. Apparently not. How does the game being posted on other platforms suddenly mean the previous story decisions no longer make sense? I might be very fucking stupid, but this line

makes absolutely no sense to me. You either have the story mapped out, in which case it makes sense to you from the beginning. Or you're winging it all the way. In which case he perhaps needs a writer and he himself should stick to the visual aspect.

Though I dread the thought. Just imagine another rework "to make the story make more sense" a year from now. What a fucking mess. I have no one but myself to blame for liking his games.

Why would putting it on steam suddenly make the whole dynamic up to now impossible? How does making them adopted even improve anything? It’s really beyond me. I can only a suspect Ocean has no fucking clue what he’s gonna do.

Also this is a tangent but has anyone else noticed that there is basically no story in the whole game yet. Since william got the phone call from leia at the start nothing has really happened. There’s been conversations between characters and scenes but nothing is actually happening. I also think this is because Ocean genuinely has no idea what he’s doing until he does it.

As far as I know, Steam bans only a concept of AVNs, minors... That Leia and William have a love relationship established during those years would fall into that category... Monica would fall into that category....

I wanted to know the differences between before and after rework and I was amazed. In the rework the graphics are far better, the characters are looking far better. And are candy eye for the player.

But in the rework you are really missing some scenes! There a lot of lewd scenes cut out to bring it to steam that it is almost criminal. For me personal it is a shame the dev did this. But he wants to earn money. For me it is really a degradation of this nice game. With all this lewd it has much more potention.

So if you want to see the goodies, just download the old stuff and enjoy!

So much potential and people told me how I needed to play this game and Summer's Gone because how amazing they are. And they are great game but, if he decides to remake it again, it's sadly not worth it to wait for this game anymore.

In my second paragraph, I simply meant that by clarifying the relationships, the narrative becomes simpler, not only does he avoid anyone being a tenant, (actually, I guess Dana will be Willi and Miru's landlady now...), but he doesn't have to make a story that is plausible to both meanings. I mean, Dana and Gina have mentioned their brothers, Kat and Zoey have brothers we've seen, there's no problems understanding the dynamic - it's just their identity is clear. We know exactly what we expect of Stephan and Lucas, Ocean can focus instead on telling us why they're important in the story. In the same way, defining these relationships allows Ocean to set the conditions for the story and lead us directly, rather than keeping everything opaque.



Well, there are already other AVN's on Steam that have characters who have a sexual past, yet they're going to college for the first time, so it's certainly possible. In the old version or now, neither WiaB has had Willi do anything until Monica appeared. I guess Ocean just has to find a way to keep the past reveals minimal, especially as he cut Summer's kiss from SG.

We might now know that Willi and Leia aren't Helen and Dylan's natural born kids, but do Willi and Leia know? Nothing in the story so far suggests that they've been told. It makes me think of Oedipus, running away to save his parents from the prophecy, only to enable the prophecy to happen to his actual parents. This is why I think Ocean's been brave to tell us rather than let it be revealed through the story - he's given away a major plot point, the question is whether he'll just divert the narrative to its new course or change some of the details we've already seen. Given how much Ocean loves suspense and reveals, I'm hoping that he'll leave leave it as isand reveal it to Willi. It could be that Leia knows already, and that's part of what Will might find out - that would explain why Leia rarely attends breakfast with the rest of the clan.

Here I will have to disagree, if it was a plot point it should be revealed in game not in a devlog, and knowing Ocean he would do just that. The changes don't seems to me plot related, I believe it will impact only characters relationship not plot point or the unfolding of the story.We also don't know if they are adopted, the devlog does not mention it we are speculating, is the path that makes more sense but we don't have confirmation

I will give it the benefit of the doubt until I see it, it does is confusing for me. As I have said Helen -maybe scarlet- are the only characters that I imagine could have gave him trouble to write in a believable way. While change to adopted may make it easier I don't see how could be to the extent thay justifes the change. But the Steam line is what bugs me as well. If is only for characters relationship what Steam has to do with that, if it somehow is related to steam this means that patchs will come ? Normally I would agree, but I think is clear that Ocean is aiming to something more than your runofthemill AVN fuck fest. This changes implies others change, while I don't think it will affect the storie it does open new aveneies of speculation.

I am in similar vibes. As for the why, he give two reasons:

1: the game with out patch did not work and for a steam releases you want your game to make sense.

2: Some charecters relationship did not felt natural.

the solution: Make only Leia and William blood related. that is one way to go, I just as you, can't not see how he came to this conclusion. But for now I will wait, I just think he should make some clarification regarding how it will work before the new update drops.
