Good one! But it is a fact that Ocean´s messages have become more vague over time. Yes, you cannot get 100% assurance in a development process, but his posts had more hard info content in earlier times.
Another thing and one I am much more riled up over is his rather new tendency to change characters just for the heck of it. Ocean has caught a real heavy dose of "Verschlimmbessern", which means trying to fix something and making it worse with this attempt. We had so many great looking characters in old Wiab ch.6 and new Wiab ch.1 and now one by one Ocean ruins them. One of the worst is new Helen, who went from hot Milf to Sumo wrestler. And the list goes on, Leia and Daphne (preview)with their new absurd bolt on tits, Dana, even Miru with the new boner-killing breast piercings.

These things in addition with Ocean´s kowtowing to Patreon on the storylines to keep SG save changed my stance on Wiab and SG quite much. Once I was quite invested in anything new about the two games, now I am more "nice to know".

Nothing confirmed - still showing 2024 on steam I think. Last devlog a couple of days back, Ocean said he's ~2000 renders done, on a previous devlog he'd said he expects ~2500. So 80% done of still renders. Animations are to come, and then all that assembling. So I'm hopeful of soon, but not as soon as I would like, because today would be best.

As I said...my initial esitmation was around mid to late October. I see no reason that still isn't the case, especially if he wants it on Steam. This will get an update before SG.

The problem is not the faces, even Helen, Leia or Mila have great faces since the beginning of new Wiab, but when it comes to the bodies... what the heck is Ocean smoking? Somebody should tell Ocean that Lauterbach, the stupid f..., has legalised Hash. But going by how Ocean disfigures the bodies of so many good characters he might have access to Gumdrop´s LSD stash. (For those not knowing, Gumdrop´s newer games show what a LSD trip might look like)

Being totally speculative with the data I'm going to put, I see no way it will be before November. 17 weeks for 1200 renders, taking as a start two weeks after the release of SG on Steam (which is more or less where Ocean wrote that he resumed work) would give us just over 7 weeks to complete (at this rate of work, if on Wednesday Ocean in the log says that he left a couple of weeks aside SG, it would be much less) (delusional if I believe it) the 2500 renders and still missing the animations and post work.
Now, even if by mid-November it would be almost ready, why release it on that date and not take advantage of December which is much better for sales?
December is my optimistic vision for a chapter of 2500 renders (i want to believe) and animations (and I only count the small animations of the sex scenes, if there are any cinematic scenes in view, all counts go through the roof).
