I'd love to see William in SG like that... he'd still be able to cuck that limp-dick, wet noodle, MC.
Maybe is a family tradition to the father cuck the son ? Dylan cuks William that cuks Nika. Kinda GoW but insted of sons killing father are father cucking sons. Jokes aside, I am genuinely curious to see William in SG both in appearance and in what is the canon LI. Someone mentioned in Discord that Helen will appear in S2, that also has interesting ideas.

It seems kind of odd to me that so many people who like this game seem to have it in for SG and vice versa. I find that especially true because although the stories are different a lot of the personal interactions and social elements seem similar, even to having (and I know this won't be a popular opinion) an annoying girl child and the incredibly annoying (to me) bibis, wormies, poundies etc. in both stories. I generally like the writing in both stories, but I have to admit that to me the baby girls and baby talk is super annoying. I also find that these games are unlike most because you find yourself pulling for what are basically deeply flawed and unlikeable MCs because you can see there's a pth forward for them and that unlike in many other games they seem to be taking it. With so much in common I find it hard to reconcile the obvious dislike that some of you have for SG. I'm sure that lengthy explanations can (and probably will) be provided as to why one is superior to the other, but again it's unusual to see such a divergence within a fan base of stuff by the same creator with so many common elements.

The only real dislike is that this is Ocean's first VN, and he has put it in the back seat for SG. That's the only real reason people are antsy about SG. SG fans are antsy because they want Zara content or Sasha content and here's Ocean spending time on Katie and William.

People just want their favourite icecream, today.

Other things: most SG fans dislike the concept of ntr. Fans of old SG with edgy Nika will prefer the heightened drama and grit of this story.

Finally, they're set in the same universe so it's a form of sibling rivalry, everyone's playing favourites.* I personally like the idea of both games getting completed with minimal compromise tomorrow, all seasons. I'm 100% in favour of that, but it just won't happen. So while we wait, we play favourites and talk shit about annyone who isn't Katie.

*Edit: If you were unaware, ZPR in SG is run by the Zanes, Petrovas and Reveras. WiaB is about (in part) how these three clans meet. We've seen the Zanes and a Revera in the rebboted version so far.

Having common elements doesn't make the tropes and their development similar... although it's a shared universe and its characters are "special", they are two stories that are not aimed at the same audience, beyond the obvious NTR here, the journeys may be different (and they should be, since here we were promised to be a mafia king, while in SG we are promised that maybe one day the MC will have an erection) That said, there are few pure WIAB fans left... and we tend to write more than the rest. And we purists still long for the days when WIAB was important and we had faith in the future.
Besides SG is very bad :p

Revera? Donna introduces herself with her full name?
I don't remember that... what a bad memory I have.

She hasn't but I highly doubt she's changed, even if her role might be different, and her reasons for stalking are different. It is possible, I just find it unlikely he'd create a new Donna with a similar role to the old Donna - it's easy to make a new name if they're separate characters. ie Miru is still Miru, and we don't know her last name either I think, Sven is Sven etc.

Beyond the explanation, I was saying it because to know that you should start by saying that we know it from the old WIAB, a newcomer would not be able to see that data clearly.

That's hardcore WiABsters for you, man!

They are still jelly and salty about their beloved firstborn is not getting the full attention he deserves from daddy Ocean, like this golden boy SG, who is just Ocean's bastard, whom he took back from Regium and pays more attention to him than to his eldest. :KEK:

I didn't like WiAB as a standalone novel, but I immediately realized that SG was the best thing this site can offer. But when Ocean decided to connect the two games much more than they were in the beginning, everything fell into place, and now to me they are just two parts of one big story taking place in the Oceanverse, and I eagerly await both updates.
