My feeling is that for Miru to be cooking basically naked, she'd have to be at home - Willi hasn't been enough of an ass to get cucked yet, so it'd be very out of character for the Willi simp to turn spicy in one scene. No slow burn with that cooking otherwise!

Yes, Willi spoke with Dana about renting her apartment, which is in the same apartment block as Mon. That's why I joke that Dana is Willi's landlord.

MC talks with Dana about it, and early devlog showed they looking at the apartment, Miru also talks about going back to their old city before moving in to Wollust and has that render at a bus station or something like that.

I know that Miru is a kinky one, but cooking with your butt off at somebody else house may be a bit too much even for her. Was thinking more on a celebration dinner between the two before she is out of town.

Hello,

The plan was to get the workstation soon because my current PC can only render 25-45 renders a night, if the scene harbors a lot of characters, it's often less than 20.

Anyways, I have to postpone the buy by another month because in Germany healthcare is a must. You can't not have it.

People in Germany love to shit on the American Health care system, especially the prices, however, if you're a self employed person, I go as far and say Germany's system is worse.

In 2021 I was still in the mandatory one that most people are in, and usually your employer pays 50% of it... That's not the case if you're a self employed bibi.

To make it short, they now want an extra 4900€ payment for the 10 months in 2021. After you get your tax papers for the year, you have to send them to them, or they threaten you with the maximum charge (which is 1050€ as of now per month for the basics of healthcare).

I did switch into private healthcare by the end of 2021, and because I'm a healthy boy, it's so much cheaper and offers so much more.

To sum up, I have to pay almost 5000€, which puts my workstation plans back by a month or two. I didn't see that coming as I wasn't earning much in 2021... In Germany we have a saying "Melk den Michel." - (Milk the Michael.)

Also, I hate this country.

Lots of work is being done; I will also soon dedicate Sundays to do postwork. Just as with SG, I stopped rendering animations until the very end. I still got quite a few still renders to do.

I will give you an update on the render count in the next Dev Log.

The guy saves up for that worktation for a year already, and a few times a year he ends up with the money he needs in his hands, but then Mr. Taxman comes along and takes his share. This happened after the Steam release, when they charged him the previous year's amount, as if he had a profitable release that year too. Now this healthcare shit. It's clear that this crap directly influences the development of the games and it's honest of him that he shares this information with his subscribers. I prefer bitter truth to radio silence or fake happy reports for months about the update being 99% complete.

As for the workstation itself and the question of its necessity, well... I don't even want to start with that I would listen to the opinion of the developers with much more trust than to the disgruntled shouts from the forum. There's a guy in the SG thread who is as easy as pie to explain to you that no video cards are needed, and that anyone can do the renders that Ocean does in a browser using AI.

But here and there, developers write the same thing: they need more rendering power as their projects grow and their renders quality improves.

I can honestly tell you if it wasn't because my ex is German, I would find it hard to believe, but it's true. Dunno much about the healthcare thing, but she did tell me taxes are a nightmare, so yeah. *shrugs* I've also have told other people about the absurd things that happen in my country and sometimes they don't believe me. Just hope this constant stress doesn't make Ocean lose the spark.

Reading between the lines, Ocean benefited from the german govt's healthcare during the pandemic, now that he's reported a significant change of income, they're coming to collect. Similar in my country, higher education is a debt that you start paying off once your income goes over a threshold.

No one earning under the threshold ever thinks how much they will owe for everything the govt decides the first time they earn money. As you say, Ocean's just being honest, probably feels like he's being punched in the gut from all this.

Also, if Ocean uses what he makes on steam to buy 5 workstaions (sweet tax depreciation I'm sure), why do we even have an opinion? It's better than him buying drugs, and drugs will slow down development, guaranteed.

Besides, we've already seen drug Miru, I like modern, sexy apron Miru, much more wholesome.

I am going to guess that this has been redone from the ground up since I recall the group going camping.
All the events happened on that trip, and an extra character was added in for more flare.
Mira had her side quest, and we got to see the MC's history from when he ran away and the things he had to deal with.
Now I went through this from the beginning and came across many moments I do not remember, no doubt that were added since my last playthrough, and there is no interaction with the MC with the rest of the crew aside from, Mira.
That's another shock, well more of an unfulfilled expectation I suppose.
Still, this is the same flow as Summer's Gone, with the same high-quality story matched with its equally stunning renders.

"Old version v0.6 Before rework"
The rework is just remarkable, I love the inclusion of what looks like a new version completely almost from the original.
I just downloaded the 0.6 and read the intro, which answers my questions from earlier.}
I get to go through the same story, no MORE here almost from a different perspective and I am loving it.

Can not speak about anyone else, for my part is not sarcasm. Is just trying to make fun out of a unfortunate situation, as I think is for the grand part of the other users. Especially because the Taxes Drama will never end, unlike death, taxes are anual. So I am sure it will not be the last time we hear about it, and I find it good. Yeah the game was reworked, can't talk much about the OG though as I was not around at the time and I mostly skipped it when playing. Still is worth as a curiosity as it might give some insights but the story was completely reworked.

Yeah, but unfortunately it's not just about the annual expenses, he's talking about additional expenses that he didn't foresee, like an over-estimate of his income for some of the previous years by the taxmen. I'm sure that he'll collect the documents, get a deduction for the overpayment, but when he will get his money back? I wouldn't be surprised if it will take a year or so, bureaucracy is a tricky thing.

And if I remember correctly, the workstation should have cost him about 14K euros with all the discounts. To me, this seems like a pretty bold investment in such an ephemeral enterprise as the Miru's pussy. Don't get me wrong, it's a damn good pussy, but 14K is still the damn 14K!
