Good luck if you’re planning to take on this game and try to ‘fix’ the mess Ocean created. You’re really going to need it.

I can’t shake the feeling that this effort to maintain coherence in the story or preserve enjoyment of the experience will ultimately be in vain, as constant rewrites and changes are inevitable, as both past and current experience show. Often, the reasons behind these changes don’t seem entirely sincere or justified, at least not always (just my opinion on it).

It’s a bit disappointing, though, that you feel the game’s family dynamics can’t be fully restored to their original form. That said, I totally understand, as you seem to point out, that such an approach would demand a lot more work, requiring a thorough rewrite of an entire chapter, which could be too much.

Still, I really appreciate your initiative and willingness to explore alternative solutions that could work given the current situation, particularly after these profound changes.

In any case, thank you for everything you contribute. Honestly, I don’t think I could bring myself to replay these two games in their actual state without the incredible and much-appreciated effort you put into them through your mods for the community.

whow, thanks for the kind words. I’m still debating with myself whether or not I want to do something with WiAB. Before it released today, I was thinking an Uncut Mod (provided something was cut, and some was, though not that much, just the intro cinematic and couple of renders there and there) would be fitting, together with whatever family dynamics was changed, and a script rewrite for actual, proper English dialogues, as I did in the latest revision of SG Uncut. But I underestimated how much of a change there would be…

And as you said yourself, even only addressing the Leia-William relationship is some work. Also, as opposed to SG, it wouldn’t be « sort-of-canon »: the rewrites for Chapter 4 would be totally invented on my part, not something that was there before and then cut. SG Uncut was not that.

And whenever they get released (if at all), Ch 5 to 8 would need the same level of rewriting, if any.

I've decided to unren the images and scroll through them, instead of playing the game. Glad I did, because it turned out exactly the way I thought it would be:

• Very pretty renders and hot girls
• Lots of boobs, and some nipples (mostly Miru though, who I find the least attractive character in the Novel)
• Hardly any actual sex scenes
• non-interesting story
• taboo relationships removed (yes you can actually find this out by looking at the pictures now)

So yeah, very average game to be honest. Then again, it's priced pretty honestly on Steam for only €7,80 so that's fair.

I definitely have no interest in actually playing the game at all at this point.

So Ocean finally decided to answer what was in everyone mind since the rework. William and Leia are brother and sister, but not by blood. Helen and Dylan adopted them into the family.
That would work around the patreon new rules, I guess.

Any idea how long it usually takes for the lewdpatcher to update ? Needed to start again since I only played the beta of ch3 not the full version and not having it makes the conversations really weird when you're used to having it on.

bad update. Don't get why so many here are obsessed with the story when it's just okay and has been drip fed over the last 5 years. I found myself skipping over a lot of the dialogue with some characters cause it's just not interesting and doesn't add much to the 'experience'. Renders are good as always, but I won't be caring as much about this game anymore tbh. The release pace of this game required this update to give a little bit more and it didn't.

Haha yup same story with both games from this dev, 1 single update per year and most of the time with large rewrites/changes so barely any progress is made with the plot.
I dont really get why both of these games are as popular as they are they have the fantastic renders going for them but other then that.... its rough.

Isn't that just a patreon thingy and the real story is played with the lewdpatcher ? After over 6 years of them being siblings, would be too weird to suddenly drop the whole thing. Like, they're supposed to be twins lmao, so how do you explain them not being related all of a sudden and the change that comes with it ?

That's just it, the story has pulled almost all the incest out (except for some inconsistencies, probably just old stuff left in that was missed during proofing). A patch is gonna have to do a lot of work, it's not as simple as replacing sis here and there. Especially in chapter 4, it's like Ocean went out of his way to make it convoluted to patch. You'd need almost a different story.

I reall would like if some book author like george rr martin with a dark fantasy story like song of ice and fire would be on patreon would they ban it or allow it because its a book because for some reason

-videogames Everything besides violance big no no dosent matter ( zero creativ freedom compared to books and violance very selectiv only specific is allowed )thats why I pray gta 6 goes balls deep and says a fuck you( because they are the only one that can do it becauae of reach) but I dont think rockstar has the balls
