I am assuming William is in the 24 to 26 range. I wonder what Miru's age is? William was 16 when he first met her. Is it realistic that a 15- or 16-year-old Miru left Japan and went to live in Wollust solo?

As to the reason William left Wollust, it was hinted at in the original Chs 1 -3 (the dialogues didn't change in Chs 1 - 4) and then implicitly stated in the latest update:

Ch 4 reveals that the reason William left Wollust is because he kissed Katie. I suspect the original intention was that William was simply fearful of Leia's reaction, if she was told of the kiss, so he fled. The Ch 4 adds the relationship taboo between Will and Katie, meaning he fled to avoid a much wider wrath:

I'm kinda holding my breath and waiting to see if future updates clarify many, many things, so I don't want to pass to much judgement on the changes.

The whole Mafia thing is what it is. I more shake my head at Ocean's version of how he thinks the mafia operates, more than the mafia inclusion in the story. Most of the plot holes I picked up on are about simpler things that I don't think make sense even in the OceanVerse.

So my guess, which I pulled out of nowhere, was confirmed by the script. With the only correction that Leia did not know about their tricks, and Willie would not have been quartered if he had been caught, but only clipped.

I can sit here and come up with different theories about why Sasha is Summer or that Leia caught MC who was going to take Katie's virginity, and according to the Wollust mafia rules, this is about the same as disgracing the royal daughter. In the novels of Maurice Druon, for example, after this the daughter goes to a monastery, and her lover goes to the Place de Grève to be quartered.

Heterochromia is not generally a genetic condition. More frequently it is a result of physical trauma (like David Bowie). Getting dropped on his head as an infant would certainly explain a few things about his behavior.

Most probably, since Ocean cannot write a coherent, logical story even if his life depended on it.

Ocean has mentioned several times he's dealing with mental health issues hasn't he? Expect all that to affect the story and stop analyzing or you'll have mental health issues .
