Since everything is being rewritten, will Miru have background like Villanelle in Killing Eve or is she going to be just a talentless sidechick with no own agenda? Oceanlab said the we won't be able to control her actions like wed did in the past version. Is that still the case? I hope she'll be able to use all the tricks a woman of her size can utilize. Poison, knives, pussy and all that.
I'm hoping Dylan got a badass past like a mercenary and the past's coming back to haunt him

If there are 30+ thousand words in each chapter, then there will be 900 thousand words in 30 chapters. Together with 30 "SG" chapters, the total will be 1800,000 words. For comparison, the Lord of the Rings trilogy contains less than 500 thousand words. Isn't it too much for an adult game?
Lotr was never that long tbh. Wheel of Time is 4.4 million and Malazan is 3.4 million. Lotr and these other popular fantasy books are also pretty complicated in scope and its grammar. Porn games for the most part have been rather...simple in comparison.
I dont see it as an issue really, as long as the game doesnt drag things out with unnecessary dialogue which some games do. Some games have very lengthy wordy updates just fine though. Depends on the dev really. I guess we will see how things go for Ocean once the updates start rolling out and we see this rework and how he manages time between WIAB and SG. Since most of the game is getting reworked perhaps the chapters are getting condensed, or getting less fluff/filler than originally planned pre-remake. Who knows.
I just wanted to say that there is no need to think that the game will have 30 chapters of 3000 images each. It is difficult to even imagine such a volume. I don't think that Ocean writes "War and Peace", although even this book will seem like a short story against the background of 30 chapters of "Where It All Began".
Still no new content ... There is no point wasting your time redoing the first chapters ... This is the most important story. AND we would like to see the end before we die !!!

This is HIS game, he decides what is best. He already admitted the story was written when he was a newbie and made a ton of mistakes in storytelling so now he’s fixing his mess.
If you don’t like what he’s doing, don’t give him your money, move on to another game, it’s as simple as that. You can’t order someone to do what you want.
Oh and let me remind you we're on a pirate site. If you want to make sure the dev hear your complaint, message him on his official sites like Patreon or Discord. Maybe he will scrap his rework plan and continue the old version just for you

Each update would be half a chapter so that would be 1 chapter every 6 months, Best case scenario would be completion in 13+ years..
