Just playing the new revamped version of "WiaB" and wanted to give a first comment to it.

Renders are extremly welldone, likewise for the animations, even if I am no fan of animations in a VN. Looking forward to more, story is partly rewritten. Some parts function better now.
As for the characters, I love Miru and her eccentrism, but I already loved her old version. The MC is likewise good, but one personal nitpick is his new look. Giving him the "Beau" treatment is a step back in my opinion. I think the MC works better if he is attractive, but closer to average than like a pic for romance novel covers.

YEA... after seeing this im pretty sure its worth my support! I disagree with anyone who likes the old Miru better then this new 1 she looks friggin amazing and this game is lookin really awesome. AMAZING fuckin job to the dev you are super skilled and even the music just seems to fit the vibe of the game as well. This is really well done im really impressed.

I knew it seemed familiar but I wasn't so sure because of the improvements done to the visuals. And damn, it looks great, the new character design is top notch, the animations are smooth and the backgrounds are well crafted.

The story is still entertaining and I like the overall writing, it's not the most upbeat story but the Asian girl adds a touch of fun.

Miru actually has more of a personality, now. I've been a Katie fan since the original game, but I may actually like Miru more. We'll see how things develop...in maybe 10 years Seriously, though, I'm hoping things pick up with the development time.

Previously I said I wasn't sure if I would even give this a try for a while, but I'm glad I did. I like how the game is setting things up for the characters and routes.

Incest offspring is most likely retarded.... you know that, right? But to make it easy to understand for you... guys: i am not a fan of incest, because it is cringe imho. The only exeption are Twinsisters. So when i see Twinsister.... of a MALE character i am obviously dissappointed. And with this statement i'm out of here.

There are so many people with down-syndrome and any other mental disorder or deformities in the world.
That means they are born of incest, right?
Incest is the most popular in these adult games, so is not cringe at all.

Ok, now that I let this sit for a while I'll go ahead and give my thoughts. As someone who's played the original version, there's a lot of great things to be said. The MC, visually, is an improvement over the old one but he does look a bit too exaggerated. Maybe tone him down a bit?

Miru. I had no problem with her old look. Her new model is definitely a welcome upgrade but it was never a problem in the first place. The problem i had(and probably others) was being in a committed relationship at the very start. Not to mention, she was a bit obnoxious and needy. Coming into this rework the dev fixed that part of her a bit. I do feel like it would've been better to just start them as friends with benefits. Since we're given the open relationship option early, why not? I don't mind it either way as long as she's not too crazy.

My god, Leia and Helen though. I didn't think the Dev could make them any more gorgeous than they already were but man they're even more sexy now. The writing for them is better too. While i did enjoy Leia's old introduction, she did forgive the MC way too easy considering her personality. She's now a bit more resentful and bitter which fits her well. Helen's on the other hand had more emotion put into her face which conveyed her feelings better than last time.

Oh yeah, Daphne is hot as hell by the way. I'm a bit sad that she stayed there. She's definitely a great addition. I also can't wait to see Katie, Scarlet and Dana again. I hope they're not changed too much, personality wise, as i thought those 3 were well done.

I'd say this was definitely an amazing rework. My only concern is that this is too good and since i don't care for Summer's Gone as much as i do for this, the wait for updates is going to be even more brutal. Hopefully the Dev is able to work it out for both games and not get burned out.

Loved the rework. Everything about it just was so much nicer than the original. Miru was my favorite in the original, and she is even better in the new version. I love the dynamic between her and the MC. Just made me love her more!

Overall though, this remake came out great. Loved everything about it and definitely looking forward to how it progresses. Thanks Ocean for everything you've done.

No, its a welcome trait. She seems a bit crazy too which I like. The overall personality ended up being an improvement but not too different from the original. I do wish she looked more asian though like the old model, even if the quality/execution of the old one was poor.

Its a great rework, I just hope the 2nd chapter doesnt take 18 months to release like the first one.. To be honest I think all the animation holds back the update speed, and amount of content. I think in the game it said 14,000 renders for the animated parts vs 750 for the static renders..lmao Idk if 1 frame of animation rendering is equal to 1 render of a regular image but assuming its 10 to 1 (10 animation for every 1 regular) we could have had 1400 new images + the 750 already for a total of 2150 renders.. Around 3 chapters worth of content.

To be fair Its probably a lot different, animating a scene vs a regular one so it might not be what im making it out to be. Im just worried about how long it will take given the time this fairly short chapter took even after all the factors have been taken into consideration (pc issues, upgrading it, reworking story script, custom designs, summers gone also being worked on, etc)



The music was spot on though.

I really like the new MC. He looks far more unique and interesting than before. My opinion but I would like if the developers took more risks with the MC rather than the scrawny generic we always have. Here, we get it why he would be popular.

I am not a fan of game reworks but... this is now a completely new and different game.

Ocean has grown and matured, as a writer and as a developer, and the only thing I can say after this is - kudos.
