Not sure how I feel about the remake but the Asian model looks way better now and I will keep her this time around.

Create something better. The criticism is important but constructive. The man has created a very beautiful project. Minor bugs are possible, but overall this is a very high-quality work. Maybe I'm comparing to the wrong games. Then give me an example of something better.
I was just trying to figure out what they were using. The quirks I pointed out are probably a clue to whatever model they were using. Never used DAZ myself, and the vast majority of the work using it is by rank amateurs or lazy money grabbers. Fallout and Elder Scrolls models have some skeleton mods that produce impressive results, but they have some bizarre edge case effects. So I'm guessing they made a move to Blender or something similar.

Not only that, Ocean is working on 2 projects simultaneously, (This and Summer's Gone) fully reworking one of them (this) most likely will start reworking the other project too (Summer's Gone). You see what I am getting at?
You aren't going to be getting timely updates, buddy. This project was already something like over 2 years in to development and now it's been restarted from scratch. Both projects are going to take a long time, especially with the quality that Ocean strides for. One project takes most developers a couple years minimum, Ocean is working on two of them while also reworking them.

Nah man, these are still Daz Studio Assets. The lighting, render settings, camera placement, postwork, etc all make A HELL of a difference for the final result.
I am not a young man looking for material to jerk off. I love to contemplate a beautiful product and let it take time to see it in full. I ready to wait. But I'm wondering, maybe I missed something similar with other creators? High quality and beautiful. Perhaps this violates the rules of the forum, but could you advise?
ok, she might not be a total bimbo but she doesn't even look half-breed to me.
and if I remember correctly she was related to some Asian peeps in the old version(DK about the new one) kinda turn off.

Yeah, I do remember some heavy Asian background in the last game and that's why she took off from the camping trip.
I really do find the new model super attractive, though, so I'm just gonna go along for the ride lol.

Sadly the discord invite doesn't work in the OP so I can't suggest it to Oceanlab themselves. Hopefully other people feel the same and atleast try to suggest it for future builds.
i really hate how the MC looks now and i do love how the new girlfriend looks, I can't stand her boobs, i feel her innocent face doesn't match her tits anymore.

I think that face with those tits (and piercings), makes it even sexier.
I thought it was a new update but I see that it is all a reworked. I really liked this new style, very detailed in expressions and very elaborate scenes, I just hope it goes ahead and that the updates do not take too long.
Well, having played it, visually it’s amazing but that was to be expected.
Obviously certain scenes were reworked and outright dropped, but this was still essentially that first update redone. And while there wasn’t as much silliness compared to the original version, it’s kind of been replaced with all the characters speaking vague, fortune cookie style parcels of pseudo-wisdom. Felt very weird, and a lot of the scenes felt like filler.
I would hope we aren’t going to keep having one update every 18 months whose contents basically boil down to characters being moody and trying to sound like philosophers with incredible visuals to disguise the fact that very little is happening with the story.

finish the story and then start a graphic update. everything else is very reminiscent of film studios. cinema -> vhs tape -> dvd -> bluray -> stream. only difference, the films are ready beforehand. fair to supporters would be to bring the story to a close and then rehash the first part.

You never read the devs explanation of why it was redone.
They said that there were serious problems with the way that some characters and events were handled, and the only way to correct it was to start over and redo it.
Trying to make do with what was there would not have worked and it would have adversely affected the game releases in the future.
Look back a few pages and you will find people posting links to the devs post.

there are non maybe our red string if you like drawing renders but most games are porno writting and not on the realistic site there are some with good renders but with typical porno wrtiting and the whole world turned around mc with 30 cm horse cock so if you look for something like where it all began and maybe summer is gone (not sure in which direction that one will go) there is our red string but I dont know any other game that has good writting and is a realistic adult novel

I don’t know that you could necessarily call the writing here realistic. I mean the MC has a pet snake that behaves like a puppy, Miru is basically the manic pixie dream girl trope turned up to 11 and every other conversation is weird pseudo-intellectual musings on the nature of people and relationships.
It’s certainly not as sleazy as a lot of other games here, but let’s not pretend this is a realistic drama.

yeah its not the most realistc game in the world and it dont needs too be I mean too much realism will be unfun too but the reason why i apretiate ocean so much is that he trys to create a realistic world in every other games that I (and i played alot) with good and amazing qualitie in terms of render and music you always have this weird feeling that the world dont feels alive expacially with the male cast in other games with young adults ( especially on college partys) but in this game I have the feeling that the relationship with miru feels like a realationship i like how other males and females act and i want too learn more about the story in other games i dont really care because the world dont feels alive because they focuse way to much too make the world turn around mc they make you feel like the super hero but in this game I actually have the feeling that there are good guys and bad guys and women with different gaoals and likings so I have the feeling that every cheracter has a personalitie (feels alive) even the snake seems to have one and this is something that feels missing in other games they cant create that bonding if you get what i mean

I think a good story can be complete insanity and wackiness, so long as it’s executed right and with a level of self-awareness with the tone.
But I think with this game, because it takes itself so seriously things like the snake behaving essentially like a semi-sentient companion rather than an indifferent reptile pet, or the MC and Miru having anime characteristics feels jarring because they’re at odds with what the story is about and how it’s otherwise presented.
Is NTR a significant part of the game? I find it enjoyable but jw, not looking to start an argument haha
