Why, when the hacker in the movie runs out of time, he/she just doubles the speed of typing and completes the job? Is the hacker's job really dependent on typing speed? But I've seen it in many award-winning movies. Do you know why? Because the plot of these movies is not built on the details of a hacker's work. They don't need a full technical reproduction of a hacking session, they need a visual accompaniment to the plot episode: among the characters there is a hacker who can hack anything. Here he does his magic and they get access to a secure system. But these movies are not about hackers or the technological details of their work, they are about completely different things.

There's no way that what you consider a plot hole the size of the Arctic Sea is something I see as a nice, cozy, minor flaw that doesn't interfere with my enjoyment of the plot or the characters' dynamical dynamics . You know, like a birthmark on a hottie's ass. I even perceive this as a kind of funny feature, I don’t know, like minting defects in gold coins.

Of course, there is only one explanation for this - Ima white knight, whatever weird shit you've labeled with this word in your head. The approach is always the same, both to the content of AVN and to my posts. Anyway, analyzing my personal preferences regarding which stories to choose, how to treat developers, or what posts to write is obviously off-topic to this thread, you can continue in the appropriate thread if you wish.

The game is pretty big now, impossible to download in one go from a free MEGA account, and tricky to download in one go from the cloud with a slow internet connection like mine. It would be wonderful if somebody could do this and post links to the multi-part, enabling people like me with slow internet and a free MEGA account, to enjoy the game and maybe subscribe to the developer afterward.

Weird. I have a free MEGA account and I've been using MEGASync for as long as I have that account, but I never had any problems downloading larger-than 5GB files with it. I can even put my computer to sleep or restart it and the download just continues from where it was paused by the sleep or shutdown or MEGA download limit after the download limit resets itself.

I've been also able to bypass the limit by switching my IP address (using a VPN tunnel) after MEGASync hits the daily limit. Download simply continues while showing the "you have reached the 5GB limit" message and showing a red X as the status icon.

It sounds as if there's something specifically "weird" at your end.

Splitting a file into less than 5GB parts wouldn't affect the download limit, though... Unless you are trying to beat the limit by using different devices (not days as you typed) to download parts simultaneously or something. That's something I haven't tried and have no idea if this would work.

I think there's a download manager that can download MEGA files and beat the limit regardless, without switching IP-addresses or anything. It's been mentioned in various threads, but I don't remember how it's called.

If I remember correctly, there was a domino that started to fall. The stress from the sounds of falling tiles became unbearable and MC ran away wherever his eyes looked. In other words, we don't know the exact reasons, they are not named explicitly, but there are various hints here and there, for example, Katie believes that their kiss was the root cause of everything and the further consequences of this act led to the MC's escape. I don't really believe in this, I think this is just Katie raising her self-esteem.

For now, I simply explain this myself as an unknown part of the plot that will be revealed later. As a result of which the stress for MC became so severe that he had to run away, leaving even Leia behind.

I can sit here and come up with different theories about why Sasha is Summer or that Leia caught MC who was going to take Katie's virginity, and according to the Wollust mafia rules, this is about the same as disgracing the royal daughter. In the novels of Maurice Druon, for example, after this the daughter goes to a monastery, and her lover goes to the Place de Grève to be quartered.

A teenager can be selfish or not, cruel or not, good or not, that is.not the point. Even a selfish teenager needs a motive, he being selfish just make the motive need to be smaller. Nobody run away from a loving (?) Home, or just a comfortable place only because they are selfish. William don't have not even the hint of a clear motivations, will may say that he didn't have before either, with would not be untrue, but the scenario allowed you to come up with a easier awnser. He was caught being a little to close with his twin sister, by their young sister, who they bullied her entire life. Is simply. Is easy. Even if this was never the case, with I doubt, the circumstances allowed better explanation. Now ? The awnser to all that kinda is mob law. And I liked the update, but we should be allowed to talk about its shortcomings along side the good, that have plenty, that image when William looked at the mirro ? Gut punching.

He reconsidered his actions after a week, but when he was about to return he was framed and sent to prison. In prison, Helen visited him and told him something that made him stay away from the Zanes and Wollust and not seeking for opportunity to reconcile. Which he did until Leia called and said that Helen had been attacked and that he was needed at home.

I think the details will be given later, but for now this is enough for me to start playing and get to know the characters and their dynamics. The whole game starts from the moment when the MC decides to return for a while to help people he cares about.

Then I just watch and enjoy the scenes, learning about the characters and their personalities. Flirt with girls. Grope their butts. Hang out in bars. Remember the past. And try to figure out why Leia called, and what is really going on here. Nothing surprising for me actually, Ocean has never been known for straightforward plots, and information in his stories is always given in small fragments as the plot develops.

At least the Mafia Jury looks better than a sudden setup with rape and a subsequent trial that does not follow from the previous actions and plot. All the questions you addressed to me I will ping pong you back with advice to let Ocean answer on them.

At least, that's what I'm going to do. I won't theorize or speculate, I'll just keep an eye on how things unfold in the next updates. It's Ocean's job to eventually tell me what this all is about.

So far, the only example of a plot hole from the previous Chapters you've presented is "Why didn't William take the girl, who he knows falling in love with is wrong, with him when he left?". See how easily that is rectified? He created distance from his forbidden love.

Now we are stuck with "Why didn't William take the other orphaned pawn away from the family that was using them?"

Oh don't get me wrong, I agree with you to a large degree, Ocean will awnser most of his questions I assume. To how good this awnser will be I can't say. The thing is that before we have something of a awnser, now, we have just questions. And the few awnser we got kinda go against was previously said. You can see how frustrating it is ? I have said as much many times, the story can work, but Ocean was too focused on make clear that William was not groping the tits of his family members that he left all the others matters behind. I expect the judgment to clarify many of those topics, but fact is that now we don't know any of it and that is the only thing I can talk about.

I think the change was made as good as it could possible be, was better than I thought it would be if I am being honest, but it is not without many flaws and that was always gonna be the case, but I can't just not see them.

If I were Ocean, as a businessman form the financial PoV, I would have pulled the plug on this game a long time ago, simply because it doesn't justify the time spent on it for the little income it generates. At least is this my impression, from the calculations I have done with the poor data that are public available. Only on SS I'm able to get relatively good numbers what is coming in. I will not take into account things like job rotation or other stuff that prevents someone from going insane.

How would I call them? I would probably call such a person a fan of the game. Someone who admits that it has its strengths and weaknesses, but overall likes the game and enjoys it. And who is not at all interested in chewing over some minor inconsistency that does not change the main plot in any way. And it is also completely unclear whether this is an inconsistency, or a deliberate omission of information that will be explained further along in the plot.

When you talk about "problems", you put words in my mouth. An abandoned game would be a problem for me, while everything you mentioned as a problem here is not worth discussing. But if you guys enjoy it, don't let me stop you. You can easily ignore my remark that you are simply repeating the same thing for the third day. Aren't you tired of it yet?

You may as well. Not worth it, especially with the person purposefully goading you. Chummer and Pal are also not friendly terms depending on where you live. Say that here you're liable to get punched.

Bottom line is, another small vocal minority here on the Zone who think they are more relevant than they are. The majority are still happy with it, as Steam sales also indicate. I'm also not over the moon as I've explained but accept it and will still be following and am still very invested.
