just finished playing ch4 and boy it's really bad every thing had been changed from relationship to script game make no sense anymore just wanna know what the reason to kill his on game like this for some people.
WIAB was more interesting for me than S.G and this was before even the rework i always liked WIAB more but now i quit playing this game. hope the best for Ocean and his work peace all

Wouldn't adopting Patreon's rules still put this game in jeopardy then? IIRC Patreon doesn't care whether it's blood family or raised family, as long as the characters are raised in a family-like environment, it violates the rules.

E.g. I read a story where at first the main character and one of his LIs were blood-related, which Patreon eventually took offense to. Then the author changed it so that the MC's sister wasn't actually his sister but just a close family friend taken in at a young age when her parents died. Patreon still didn't like it, so now she's just a family friend that only lived with the MC's family for half a year or so before the story starts.

Anyone can ask the mods to remove the tag. Just report it for "Other" and specify that the tag is no longer appropriate.

Ocean basically said on Discord today he feels Steam and GOG would eventually adopt the same policy as Patreon and Subscribestar. To quote him loosely, he’s not getting near that shit (incest) anymore.

all devs have to do is write it so it's not hard to change and someone can drop a patch and they're covered.

Edit: Also, I haven't played this in a really long time...like several years. Does the patcher still update this I-patch or should i just play? Joker appears to have included it in his walkthrough but specified that it's not updated...if he included it does that mean it still works even though it's old?

Yeah the recent changes makes the story nonsense. This spineless decision ruined the plot of the game. Where's the tension? What's the point? If only Ocean stuck to his guns and just continued developing the game as it should have been written.

He's grabbing Helen's boob, kissing Leia, sucking on Katie's nipple, bending Dana and Zoey over, fucking Miru, etc. That doesn't change if Helen is his mom/warden/landlady/therapist/nursemaid/cocksleeve/whatever title he wants to call her.

The mafia stuff will sort itself out just like most other nonsensical VN plots do.

Pure lie, Steam and GOG never cared about this, we have much more "scumbag" games in digital stores and they were never removed, for me he did this to sweeten his universe and not fall back on SG's patreon

i really liked the renders in ch4 he is still one of the best, but it lost the magic for me.
