The alternatives were not between seeing the new chapter and waiting for the rework. The alternative was an abandoned game. Let's hope it does well on steam

Well. After reading the heated discussion I decided to download and play the Beta release. And I must say that the graphics are improved a lot. Animations are not top of the bill.

One bit that needs improvement are the dialogs. You have to make a lot of choices. And being an amateur in programming I don't know if they have all aan impact on the game.

So yes, the game is improving, but no I still don't become a Patreon.

Hope the dev finish ep 25 soon........

nope...it is great the way it is - not many games have that number of small, medium, and big choices of which all have impact, based on their importance ofc.

reading that you arent yet quite satisfied due to "too many choices" is one of the most laughable things i have read around...that is why f95z is such a great place - one day you think you have seen it all, then another day boooom - comes this user with completely fresh "insight".

your decision to "still don't become a Patreon" surely is a hard blow to the game/dev...we can only hope he will do everything he can to further please you and meet your gaming standards...

Exactly, the selling point wouldn't be the cut they take/lose, but rather the possibility of attracting a wider audience. As you say if a game can sell a million copies, or even just a fraction of that, it's a lot of money they're not seeing on Patreon.
That being said, it's a pretty saturated market on Steam now, no? There was once just a handful of adult games, but there's probably a few hundred if not more by now.

Thousands actually, Actually more like 10 thousand maybe. There are literally like 4-5 new ones trending on the steam new releases every week. Thats not including all the other shitty ones Made. If were talking just purely adult games there is a shit tone on steam. Though 90% aren't even worth playing its hard to find the good ones buried beneath all the shitty ones though. Ive seen some devs that have like 10-15 made and they are all short and have terrible writing.

How often is the remaster updated? I installed that one by accident and when I got to the end I downloaded the other version and realised the art and everything is just way better on the remaster

the remaster was essentially made for Steam, and the first season (corresponding to the first 10 chapters of the game) should be released this year

there is no date, I think the goal is to have it out by the summer.

the game will not be complete by summer lets say august, i see the seasons and chapters to be played out for as long as possible to keep the money flowing if the game get complete then why sould people keep supporting.

Chapter 24 was all about ending the main relationship if not careful.
That mod backfired on me.
There's no point in playing chapter 25 if I cant save that relatiionship.
That remake better be a remake of better choices like I said.
There's no Harem tag in this game.
Maybe they should consider putting that into the remake.

As far as the normal game (not the beta/Steam version), I see that the update back in Sept 2023 added chapter 24, but I also noticed by going back and restarting the game that some of the dialog has changed (at least in the first 4 chapters I played so far). Is it safe to say that the dialog changes are done for all the old 23 chapters, or was the dialog only updated up to a certain amount of chapters and there will be further updated for the rest later on?

I guess what I am asking is if Cheecky said anything about what is next for the non-Steam version, I understand that there is still Chapter 25 and epilogue to come, but wasn't sure if he mention that there will be more rework of the first 23 chapters!
