Yeah, that's probably what happened since I was playing blindly without knowing what points each choice would give...

Its such a strange ending, i dont like it at all.
As a Katie fan, EP24 was honestly a better ending with the rooftop date and the proposal lol
The monogamy paths kinda got fucked over, barely any content and everything feels kinda meaningless anc lacking passion/emotions
While a weird polygamus-adjacent relationship is possible (cheating included) for some barely comprehensible reason.
At the end it feels like its not a game for monogamy fans but not a harem either and not even a open polygamus relationship, what is it supposed to be at this point?
You can be in a polygamus relationship with Katie, Jenna, Debbie, Lily and kinda jolina (i dunno how involved she is) while at the same time dating wanda & angel and impregnate everyone. Yet the first party doesnt seem to know about the second and i have a hard time imagining the mcs everyday life like that lol
I just feels like the dev couldnt be bothered with the branching anymore, said fuck it and now all the immersion is gone and everyone is kinda whatever about everything, MC can fuck who he wants and no girl cares in the slightest while the whole buildup and intention felt like the opposite to that for the first 24 episodes...

What did you expect? A harem or living with half a dozen "wifes" makes no sense anyway in a modern setting

Yeah, I asked a couple of pages before if the newest release is combined with the reworked season 1, and while someone did answer, he wasn't sure either
but since the separate walkthrough mod was prepared for this release, and the name of the mod suggests "non-inc3st" version, I assume it was already combined.Edit: after running it, seems like th old version. The 'S1' had different gallery and menu, and with this one I can still see my old saves, so I guess it is not combined. I still wonder if there are some "incest-removing" rewrites because of steam, but I don't have the strenght to replay the whole thing, and I'm not even sure if I would recognise changed parts, since it's been quite a while. Anyway, maybe in few years, after the actual reworks are all finished.

Oh man I wish we got to spend more time with Angel and Wanda's mothers. The stuff with Heaven and Elizabeth was awesome this update IMO, one of the highlights for me, I wish we got more of it tbh.

Like he said lots of "plans" and it sounds like he will take a lot of community feedback type of situation to help decide (bad idea imho).Thanks for pointing out that recent post by Cheeky, I had missed it out.
I recall him saying that after Ep25 he would just have added a few short epilogues and maybe a short non-canon full-harem ending, and then he would have considered WTHI finished for good and he would have moved on to develop another completely different game.
Thus any continuation of WTHI beyond those short epilogues was completely off the table at the time of that post I remember.
He totally excluded a regular length Ep26, let alone a Season 2.
He clearly stated that he had nothing more to add to this story.
Unfortunately he seems to have changed his mind if a Season 2 has now become an option...
IMO Ep25 was disappointing, "rushed" in storytelling nonetheless the long development time due mostly to the huge amount of slightly different duplicate scenes due to high level of branching.
The good idea behind WTHI has been already stretched beyond any reasonable limit, and ending the story with a cliffhanger (when it was clearly running out of narrative ideas) was an ass-pull.
This is the end until otherwise stated.
There could be a Season 2, there could be an epilogue, there could be a "DLC" (I doubt it, maybe for Steam), and there could be whole new game where the dev finally moves on form this.
